Now a days I think most people get the feelings that they should suppress their real thoughts or else...........be prepared to be noted with consequence.

"Big brother" might be taking notes but I am not inclined to suppress my real thoughts, which often relate to the many ways in which the Bush administration make me ashamed to be an American.

No, but I'm more careful about how I express them, so nothing gets misconstrued. But choosing your words carefully is a smart thing to do anyway, so I don't mind that much.

At this stage in the poor way our government is functioning SOMETHING has to be done. If we don't GET NOTICED how else can we make our changes noticed by those who are TEMPORARILY in power?????

We may not be there yet but we are certainly coming close to being that kind of country. It's pretty unsettling.
