Bush knows EXACTLY what he's doing in Iraq.

Bush NEVER had ANY intention of ending this war quickly.

That was why he didn't send in as many troops as was reccomended, or sent many in poorly equipped.

You see it's about the military industrial complex, what former president Dwight D. Eisenhower warned America about. By prolonging the war Bush is feeding the MIC. If you run a corporation that makes military hardware, what better way to boost your profits through the roof than with an unending war?

I think Keith Olbermann described it the best way.

"Because if you sell the army a thousand humvess, you can't sell them anymore until the first thousand have been destroyed."

Bush knew what he was doing when he declared a "War on Terror"; since this is war on a tactic, no on a country, it is a war that will be around as long as the tactic is around--forever. This gives him the ability to do anything he wants to because "we're at war." The war in Iraq is a huge miscalculation that should never have been entered into, as it affects his popularity. He doesn't need an actual war to keep the Military Industrial Complex going if he has "The War on Terror."

The war is about OILl!!!!!without a milatary presents in the Middle East the crazy *** Muslims over there would disrupt the the pruduction of oil. What better way to cripple a nation that uses billions of gallons of oil to function. The military and the adminastration dont want people to know whats going on.without a steady supply of oil are whole way of life would change. There would be wide spread power outages,a lack of food and medicines, and there would be panic and riots! This is just the biggining. The war over there is going to go on for awhile-sucking the Nation dry.

Probably the Bush Junta never actually thought that far ahead, but once they managed to get this war institutionalized the potencial for profits was certainly relilized. People who manufacture artificial limbs are seeing a bonanza.

What do you think Bush meant when he gave his "Mission Accomplished" speech?
His mission was accomplished, of duping the American Public into a war that was based on lies, for profits on oil, and other corporate interests of his own, and VP Cheney's.

Mission Accomplished people... Gas is $3.00 a gallon, and Bushco, Inc. is laughing all the way to the bank...

Mission Accomplished!

Excellent point, Scotty. It's great you brought up Keith Olberman, a true patriot in the traditional sense.

Rock on, brother...

Peace

Because we are losing and we do not like to lose. As simple as that.If we were winning Bush would be a hero. He over estimate the Iraq's stepping up to help, like the people of Afghanistan did. There not stepping up is why we are losing in Iraq. Peace
