If things are improved, people expect "change course".
If things are worsen, people expect "change course" too.
If things stay the same, people still expect "change course".

If no matter what, Bush decides to maintain the surge level, then he doesn't need to wait till September. He just needs to remember the military is already stretched too thin and pretty soon his daughters need to go there too.

So why would September report ever be a turning point? Why wait till then? No logic behind that.

Did the Iraq Study Group Report make any difference? Bush did exactly the opposite of their recommendation by escalating the war - his commitment to the defense lobby is deeper than any other.

Not to the liberals in power like Mr. Reed he and many others have been invested in defeat since the beginning the "surge" in one of his speeches had all ready failed before it was started according to him. The just don't seems to take the Islamo Fascists as a real threat even after 9/11 and the many hundreds of attacks around the world on freedom loving countries. No to them it is a political game the only thing that matters to them is loosing makes bush look bad. I am ashamed that they even live in our country let alone have power to influence those who don't or won't do their own research on things just follow and agree with those who yell the loudest and hate the most. If the libs in power know one thing it is the human nature of some. Are there enough of these America haters to bring this country down? It's close enough to be concerned about. United we can't be beat divided we can't win........

No, people are set on one side either for Bush and for the troops of against Bush, but for the troops. Either stay there and fight the terrorist or pull out and fight the terrorist in the USA. We can either let our military fight full force or we can continue to let them fight with one arm tied behind their backs. We can continue to a poltical war or fight an unpolitical war. Our men and women can either fight while protecting reporters or men and women can and let reporters
defend themselves. My point, no matter how this is looked at no side is correct and that is what the terrorist want. The terrorist want the USA split

hey, HELLO.... they are already circumventing the report and it isn't even September yet. so no, it won't make a difference to those who have determined that we have already failed and nothing would change their minds.

Hilliary is pander to the far far left of the tribe is already calling for troops to be out in 90 days, no matter what the report might say..we've lost, let's cut and run and all will be well and we can go back to our peaceful pre 9/11 life...but wait, the attacked started long before then but that is muddying up the issue, isn't it.

Not to people who's opinion on the war is shaped by partisan politics or ideaological dogma, no, of course not.

For pragmatists, yes, the reality of the situation in Iraq is of interest.

To the democrates who are invested in our defeat and the sycophants in the main stream media it will not make a difference. Truth never gets in the way of fascism
