Oh how soon we forget. When hostages were held in Iran for over a year there was no way we could get them out. Jimmy Carter was in charge and there seemed to be no respect for him or our country. The FIRST DAY, once again the FIRST DAY Ronald Regan took office they were released. I feel the war has been "sanitized" in fear that our public might see something that offends them. We don't need to back off we need to hunker down and bomb that sewer back to the prehistoric times it wants to be in!

I think it is odd, while bush has been in office we have lost the world trade centers and over 3000 lives. the Iraq war has taken another almost 4000 not including the lives of the people of that country. they are just like you they didn't start this crap or want it. How safe can you really feel if you look at the facts?????
Al Quaida don't give a hoot less who is in office. They are terrorist! always have been and always will be. This is nothing new to the world. and can not be controlled. Remember our history when our terrorist fought the English. the English lost. I truly hope you understand what i am saying.
think hard about what is real and what is a political promise.

Yes the Terrorists would be happy if a Democrat was President because of all Democrats running for President right now all (except Bill Richardson) would cave into the demands of the Terrorists.
Bill Richardson is only one of the Democrats running that probably would actually do something about Terrorists.

As different as Dems and Reps seem to those who cleave to thier respective dogmas, to much of the rest of the world, they don't look that different.
Al Qaeda /does/ seem to have a penchant for striking early in a new leader's term of office, though, so the next President had better watch out.

No, they love having Bush as President, he let Bin Ladin escape, he let all of Bin Ladin's family leave USA after 9/11, he gave them the best recruiting tool they could have wished for, he allowed them to regroup and rebuild inside of Pakistan and he sent our troops into place where it is is much easier for them to get to and kill our troops. He took the pressure of the Taliban by diverting troops to Iraq. Plus Bush doesn't do anyhting about the Saudi Arabians financing them.

taht seems to be exactly what teh republicans were implying when a "recent" Al Qaida video ran on all the news channels. Turns out that "recent" footage was from 2002.
Believe what you want to believe, but the Republicans want you to believe that we are better off with the present, but known mess than the future, unknown mess.

That's a given. They know the democrats won't do as much as the republicans when it comes to fighting.

No I think they want a republican president who acts just like Bush, they are more popular in the middle east now then they ever have been thanks to bush.\
And what have we forgotten?
How we attacked Iraq and they didn't attack us?
How we gave up on chasing Al qeada and thy are as powerful as ever now?
How Bin Laden is still alive and free?
no I remember everything

yes indeed. I could not agree more. A Democratic president will sit on their hands and say, "Its not here so I'm not worried."
