I am a Mother of one and would like to give sole custody to the father. I am currently living in texas.

Check with a local document preparer. There are documents called Stipulations that can be filed with an Order. You WILL be required to pay child support to the child's father.

I don't believe you can do that without involving an attorney. The custodial parent is entitled to at least 20% of the non custodials parents wages in TX to support the child. Even if you just give your child to the father, the father can get an attorney and sue you for child support. If you are on speaking terms with the father, see if you can both agree on an amount less than the customary, and make it legal, otherwise you will have a problem on your hands somewhere down the road.
