It seems to me that as of yet our leaders have not been able to come up with a solution to the immigration problems we face with illegal mexican immegrants. There have been many arguments that are pro and anti legalization.

Here is my opinion. We have all heard the reasons that the immegrants come to the U.S. from Mexico, and a majority of it has to do with a more prosperous life for themselves and family. They have also been proven to be a very important part of our workforce.

And I have heard arguments against the legalization of the immegrants stating the fact that they will be further straining our resources and job market, not to mention our social services.

Can we not make plans to Annex the country of Mexico and make it's citizens U.S. citizens? By doing this Mexicans will benefit from our laws, social services, monatary value, health care, and jobs. We as americans will benefit from new sources of natural resources, lands and so much more.

you will see how many americans are now opting to retire in Mexico. The U.S. would benefit greatly from the income produced at such vacation spots.

The only people who I know of that would be against this idea would be racist people, and the mexican government (who keep the rich rich and the poor poor in Mexico today.)

Roger
I appreciate your input, especially coming directly from a Mexican citizen.
I'd like to see solutions from the Mexican governement, however, that will solve our ilegal immigration problems without taking money from American citizens.

Please, don't even suggest that. I live in Mexico and am really glad I do. Mexico has it's problems and I truly hope the people can work towards solutions to those problems, but to annex Mexico is not any solution to us or them.
I think if you want to do something helpful you could come down here, look around a bit, and then decide how you might contribute selflessly. What do you think of that?

Why might the U.S. desire to annex something in Mexico ideal or maybe Baja California? it would upload very much to our very own value to assist those human beings by government skill. almost everybody may be on government information. We have already got a deficit it is uncontrollable and we will pay for that when the Bush is lengthy previous. we would desire to unravel our very own issues earlier shall we address something like that. Our funds isn't infinite, Bush in simple terms thinks that's. you like extra, you print extra. each time that occurs, the yank greenback turns into worth much less interior the international marketplace.

Most Mexicans, despite the poverty and social problems, are proud to be independent. Many in Mexico will take such suggestion as an insult. And I don't blame them. And USA is running into huge deficits. Who is going to pay the annexation? Us?

I read that 21% of Americans surveyed plan to emigrate or at least buy vacation property outside the U.S.

A comedian joked that there are so many Americans buying property in Mexico, we are driving them out and we will then have to build a wall to keep them from returning to Mexico.

The math doesn't work.

Less than 5% of the Mexican population leave or intend to leave. 95% are happy where they are.

That 95% is likely to take arms in case of an attempt of annexation. That's nearly 90 million people.

We did annex a huge chunk of it. Hmmm. . I am writing this in El Cajon California, a suburb of San Diego. ya Think. . .?

Maybe there is something there that "minutemen" and other racist Mex-haters turn a blind eye to.

So we take over, improve the standard of living, improve their infrastructure, and straighten out their corrupt Government with our corrupt Government.
Sounds like a plan, of course in twenty years our children have to deal with them and the rest of the world hating us and demanding that we get out and give them back their freedom, (of course leaving all improvements).
Nope, sorry, lousy plan.

To say that anyone who is against it is a racist, is to say that you believe that anyone who disagrees with you is a racist. Usually when someone says something like that it means that they are the racist. People can disagree w/o being racist.
As the girl above me said: Keep Amercia the way it is. Welcome all legals and DEPORT all illegals
