I'm sure you've heard of the Hispanic anti-immigration group called "you don't speak for me"
They came up with the name because they don't agree with the majority of Hispanics on this issue.

So that got me thinking. ........
Why don't all of you that want deportation or believe in the self -deportation theory.....why don't you start a group called , "You don't speak for me part 2"
or "America doesn't speak for us"

since 60% + Americans don't want that

nay sayers please refer to one of my previous questions

Source: Gallup / USA Today
Methodology: Telephone interviews with 1,014 American adults, conducted from Jul. 6 to Jul. 8, 2007. Margin of error is 3 per cent.

1,000 adults? From where? If you say that's a proper statistic of 300 million people, well...as you say you are your own judge and don't care what other people think. I guess your just looking for that 1,000 people 'majority' that think like you!

The silent majority has won in the sense the status quo remains. The anti-immigrant crowd won nothing because no illegals are facing mass deportations and the flow of immigrants continues. They can defeat a way to solve the existing problems, but they can never put their agenda forward because they will never have the votes.

Why are you only talking about Hispanic illegal aliens??

Apparently you have an agenda here. YOU are the one trying to make it a racist issue. Do you realize illegal aliens from over 100 countries are deported every year??

And where does your statistic "MAJORITY" come from?? Have you polled legal Hispanics in the U.S.?? If not, provide a link, otherwise it's YOUR opinion and is not based on fact.

NY Times polls showed that 66% of Americans agreed with the granting of legality to illegals who pay taxes/pay back taxes, learn english, pay a fine, and have no criminal record. I Don't know where you got the number of 85% against it.

While I disagree with you that we Antis are a minority in this Country on this issue, I would hasten to point out to you that the "Minority" stopped the last immigration bill cold in its tracks at a grass roots level.

That kind of blows all of your polling data out of the water in my mind since if you were correct in your figures, the bill would have passed.

Revisionist history doesn't work.

I'm perfectly happy with the tags you Pros have labeled me with, such as "Anti", "Racist", and a few I've gotten by email I can't repeat.

There will be enforcement, and there will be changes made.
You probably won't like most of them.

The bill was quite frankly "stupid." It was a 300 page plus of crazy talk which did nothing to tackle the underlying problems of immigration. That's why so many Americans were against it - because it was stupid and didn't call for mass deportation. Read your own polls.

JUST ME AND ABOUT A ZILLION OTHERS HAVE THAT THOUGHT! WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED WITH WEB SITES, WE KNOW HOW EASILY THAT CAN BE MANIPULATED, REMEMBER, SHAMNESTY?

It's not worth communicating with these anti-illegals. They aren't going to get it.

Spazz

The MAJORITY of LEGAL Hispanics and the maJority of all other Americans are against illegal aliens. Dont' try to twist anything in your statement. I know you are trying to suggest that it's a "tiny" percentage of Hispanics that are against illegal aliens. It ain't so!!

BTW Illegal aliens consist or more than JUST Hispanics.

Good idea, but the names don't have a catch that it needs...something like "PROUSA" sounds better, IMO.

I am sure that it is over 60% of Americans...probably about 75% to 80%.
