People complain that the patriot act takes our rights away, but doesn't it serve to inhibit the terrorist from using our rights against us?

A co-worker was teling me just last week about at least one hundred people he knows from his homeland that are using our social security system for their benefit. He is from an African country. He said adult children who live and work legally in this country bring their elderly parents over to live. They help them get signed up for a social security card and medical card. Now, since their parents have litle to no knowledge of the English language, the children are put as co-signors on the social security checks. We all know how hard it is to survive on these checks so, what the elderly parents do is go back to their home country and the children cash the checksthat continue to come in and send the money to them, since the gov't was not told they left. The American dollar goes a looong way over there and they buy new houses and live like kings and queens on our money. This co-worker stated that many have told the INS/gov't but, they choose to turn their heads. This infuriates me!!

I ask it because in Argentina the Argentine Army and Police , trained by USA at The School of The Americas used to sell the babies of the"terrorists" captured , the said that US instructors at SOA said that the babies should not be given back to the family of the "terrorist", otherwise they will become "terrorists" in the future.
One ecample of this policy is this couple of Jews, she was pregnant, once she had her baby,she was killed ( "missing")
the baby was sold,until now he is not found.But scores of other babies are found thanks to DNA analysis, 30 years from that US puppet dictatorship the wounds are still open.
The couple of Jews, just one of thousands...

Move to Canada...
That would be the last straw for me, I just wouldn't feel safe anymore. The country's already in enough turmoil and I'd really rather not stay and watch the Dems and Republicans play Politics...I love this Country and my friends here but when it boils down to it I just want to live...

Besides I already have family up there and I'd really like to see real Snow once in my lifetime :D Not to mention the great Health Care...

I am tired of hearing stuff like this, we are not all the same. If you don't think your different from someone willing to strap a bomb to his chest and blow himself up than your nuts. We are different. We may all bleed if cut, but we do not all share the same values and morals. There is no understanding or living with someone willing to kill themselves and others so easily. We put away murderers for thinking the same way, why are we so quick to not judge muslims who do the same thing???

record illegals influx, record outsourcing of jobs of our fellow americans to overseas sweat shops including commie china, record influx of slave wage earning scabs with legal visa programs such as HB1 visa, a war on terror that will last perpetually, a war in afghanistan with no end in sight, a war in iraq with no end in sight, health care costs increasingly prohibitively unaffordable, social security crisis, medicare crisis, the lack of energy planning, catastrophic climate change looming....

Does anyone know what are the laws or the consequences if someone 18 yrs or older is caught or charged with seeing a 17 year old?? Does the overage person have to have sex with the minor in order to be charged, or can someone charge the overage person for just being with or seeing the 17 yr old?
Does anyone know any of Pennsylvania's minor or underage laws??

I am asking this for My brother. He has been awol since 1990 I believe. Anyways He has since found Religion, and believes that he needs to atone for his mistake he made at 21 years old. He has talked to his pastor about this and they are researching this matter. I am prior service myself, but I do not know for sure. I do think if you accept the punishment, and serve it with honor you could be allowed to finish your contract out. Any thoughts?

It's ticket fighting time! I got clocked going 39 in a 35 zone, Middleburg Heights Ohio, that would be a 20 zone during school zone hours. I think the officer may have used the wrong city ordinance, 1134.03BLU. This just doesn't look like a city ordinance to me. I found the case docket online and it stated I violated code 434.03 which looks more like a real city ordinance. If the officer used the wrong code I should be able to get the ticket dismissed as evidence correct? Would the actual code be available at a middleburg liabrary? I have already plead not guilty at the arrignment and have a trial set for 7/19/07. Another mistake on the ticket is it says "proof of financial responsibility shown" and checked "yes" The officer never even asked for insurance! I remember this clearly as I was expecting it, he just never asked. I'm thinking I could use this to cast doubt on the officer's credibility somehow. I do have insurance of course. Only other defenses general radar issues

I am currently in the process of filing a law suit against a former associate. He illegally accessed my Paypal account and purchased items to the sum of $2,000 dollars. Now the bank of course is sending me letters every day saying my account is overdrawn and things like that. As you may know the legal process is very lengthy is there anything the bank would do to me in the meantime? Since my account is overdrawn so large, can they come and arrest me? I am just really worried about it. What are some of the first steps I should take? Any help is very appreciated, thank you.

Women keep repeating the phrase "my body, my choice." They forget that they wouldn't have a life within to decide the fate of without the help of a MAN. I don't need to tell you about the egg and the sperm, we should be beyond 6th grade health class.

There are men out there that are truly heartbroken when they find out, usually too late, that their child was murdered. Why don't they have a choice?

Why aren't men standing up for their unborn in the courts, and shouting that they should have rights too?

In the beginning we were looking for Bin Laden and then the people who put us through hell on 9/11. Now that is never talked about and we arent even looking for Bin Laden. What is the point of being there and killing tons of people and soldiers? I know, money, oil, Bush finishing the war his dad started...but comeon...we need to get back to why we went there and come home.

Me and my ex boyfriends new wife are having problems. Back in last august we had a fight at his apartment where she attacked me and me and him was arrested but nothing happened to her. Then in Feb. she call my job where I was working at the court house and told my boss some lies about me saying I was calling her harassing her from work and sleepin with her husband, they let me go instead of hiring me and I know it is because what she did. So a couple of weeks ago she's playing on my phone and spreading rumors about me. So I took a picture of her off of myspace and made a poster that said something along the lines of "She has Aids and sucks dick and gave out her work phone number" then I posted a poster on her job door. They had cameras so they claim they saw me do it. When I went down to the police station I wrote a statement and admitted that I did it. She says that now shes going to sew me for slander. Do you think that this is possible? How much $ can she get? I don't work?
