I think that all depends on how we exit. It seems obvious to me how we should go about it. I say we pull our troops out of Iraq, but not bring them all home. A force of around 50,000 should be strategically placed in Kuwait, Quatar, or somewhere close, and left there for probally a year to monitor the Iraqi government and see how well they're handling their own problems. And if the "stuff" hits the fan, we're still close enough to rush back in and take over again. In essence, what I'm proposing is that we take away the sippy cup we gave them and hand them a beer. If they can deal with their own problems for the one year probationary period, then i say we bring all the troops home. Or at least send them to afghanistan instead and concentrate on chasing terrorists around in those caves. But what do I know? I'm just a dumb redneck........

Iraq will have it's civil war just like you Americans .It was Bush's evil crime against humanity lie based war in Iraq that has unleashed this civil war.

Like in the former Yugoslavia,decades/centuries of inter sect /group hatred and animosity that was kept under control by strong dictators,is now able to "take wing" and like YOUR civil war, very little if anything can be done to stop it.

The sectarian violence will continue, as it did before Saddam and as it has since Saddam was taken down.

Eventually, one faction or another will gain dominance, because they have more people or more power. Different factions may end up in control of different provinces, effectively turning them into separate countries.

This is the way the world has worked for thousands of years, and we're not going to change it any time soon.

I really don't know and the way the act when they see one of ours dead shot down, bombed and killed . They run around laughing , shooting , clapping and just cheering are dead , so I don't now and I really don't give damn what they do. At least I'm being honest about they way 75 % of the American people feel.
