record illegals influx, record outsourcing of jobs of our fellow americans to overseas sweat shops including commie china, record influx of slave wage earning scabs with legal visa programs such as HB1 visa, a war on terror that will last perpetually, a war in afghanistan with no end in sight, a war in iraq with no end in sight, health care costs increasingly prohibitively unaffordable, social security crisis, medicare crisis, the lack of energy planning, catastrophic climate change looming....

How are all these things or the way way we deal with them linked???????

A complete and total lack of effective leadership. Playing the odds and gambling with the future of the United States instead of reasonable, effective leadership has resulted in our current mess. Also, way too much deregulation and cuts to necessary programs. The Bush administration's idea of smaller government is to let everything go on its own. If people were honest, that might work. People aren't honest, they're greedy thieves if left unchecked and deregulated in the business sector.

Sounds like you glass is empty. In the US, we have a record high economy. We have a record high average wage. We have a record high in total employment. We have a record low in unemployment rate.
BTW, we do not have "record" budget deficits. The latest report puts the deficit at $200 million. If Congress would quit the runaway spending, the budget could be in balance by next fiscal year.

fact is record tax reciepts are coming in..on profits..
this is a global economy..and without factoring that
and the deficits are dropping just like they did in the 90's
with the Computer-tech bubble

I notice that some people would prefer that the rest of america does not recognizes these issues are around. I guess they hate the free exchange of ideas, loath the truth, and attack you for informing your fellow citizens.
