Yahoo deleted my question before it even appeared. Honestly this affects all of us so please spare the partisan comments.

Question: Iraq wants us to leave has democracy turned them into Liberals?
The only thing I can think of is I used the word Liberal.
At the time of my violation, deleted by Yahoo, there were 2 other questions in the same category that had the words Lieberal spelled with a lie and that 'is' meant to be derogatory. My question was neither derogatory or inflamed. I have also posted questions with the word..."conservative" and they were never deleted. The word liberal is an actual political word that our own government uses in generalities. It is a part of our government. I can show you questions right now that haven't been deleted for much, much worse. I can also show you questions on here that contain the exact same wording and they're not deleted. The question was a valid and honest question. I was wondering if Iraq was leaning to the Liberal vs Conservative side with their new government since they are asking the US to leave. This is simply not fair and I don't understand it at al

Do we need a community dictionary in the politics and government section to go by, so we can make it clear and specific which words can or cannot be used. I am looking forward to an explanation because I can't find it in the community guidelines where I made a violation. I am so disappointed with this website and I will make a copy of this e-mail to show all my friends when I leave. Thanks

anoldmick: you misunderstood the question and missed the sarcasm. The question was meant to praise Iraq for obviously turning their views towards the left side of the political spectrum in their new found democracy.

I don't really know what was wrong but it is interresting some of those perverted questions that never get violated. Maybe it is your level and keeping you down. I got violated for a question, post about being happy for me I fixed my comp problem. Never been violated before and this was very shortly after reaching level 5. try to contest it

I too had a question removed, but it was after it had been posted. I appealed, and attempted to actually speak to a human. Finally gave up. I do not understand what yahoo's standards are, and find the idea of open political debate or discussion existing along with what amounts to censorship, something of a contradiction. So, I'm forced to think that yahoo isn't perfect. So, I could quit. But, though not perfect, yahoo IS interesting, and still pretty good.

Well, I would say capitalizing liberal (ie Liberal) denotes a formal party and in most cases when that is done here in the US it is used as a substitute for Democrats. In any case, I think jumping to the conclusion that Iraq is turning/becoming liberal (small l denoting the actual philosophical/political ideology) because they want US military out is a non sequitur. Would conservative Islamic countries want US military presence?
Heck, even Saudi Arabia wanted us to leave which was a small contributing factor for the US invasion in Iraq... We wanted to keep a large ground military presence in the region.

It's a question that attempts to bash a political group using the word liberal, which has become a new slur on this site. Beyond that I do not see how such a question would truly add to political debate. Try asking the question with a less partisan frame.

First of all, Y!Answers lies in their teeth when the promise to investigate all complaints. They simply don't have enough staff to do that - so anytime there're complaints, they just hit the "delete" key and move on.
I would likely have complained regarding your question had I read it, because it unnecessarily demeans and insults a goodly number of your fellow participants on Y!Answers - a clear violation of the rules.
You have as much right to your opinion and to state your opinion as do the rest of us - but please don't attack, belittle and insult us when you disagree with us. I'll try to convince my fellow libs to grant you the same courtesy.

Yeah - YA let someone who was bragging about being an illegal alien post a question that referred to the US as "this fuckn country" - but deleted my answer because I objected to his offense.
Some real double standards here.

It's their sandbox, they make up the rules and apparently enforce them as they see fit. What's the alternative? Put up with their BS or go elsewhere I guess.
