They are the ones that do the Spin Doctoring for the masses. Unless we the little people can start making the politician run on their "TRUE" record we will never really even have a representative democracy.
Perfect examples of the politicians manipulating bills so that they can most of the time sneak in garbage with needed legislation are The troop funding bill & the comprehensive immigration bill. Even though the people defeated the amnesty twice they have now stuck it in the 2007 Farm Bill Reauthorization.
IF EVERY ITEM HAD TO STAND ON ITS OWN MERRITS, EVERYONE COULD TELL WHO WAS IN WHOM'S POCKET. The lobist could bribe the politicians all they wanted, but the voters would KNOW & the bribes would have to be for something other than getting them back in office to screw us.

That is a huge YES ! You are including Michael Moore too ? The Socialist Liberal Bias` Media will and say anything , and get away with it , why? Until we had Fox News and Conservative radio , there was no one to call their bluff ! Now there is , and that is why they want the fairness doctrine implemented , because the few outlets we as Conservatives have available to us , we still have more listeners than all of them put together. The Socialist have , NBS , CBS , ABC , BBC , CNN , MSNBC , PBS , NY Crimes , Boston Globe , Chicago Tribune, LA Crimes , and all present only the Socialist Liberal Bias` Media point of view ! They will falsify "Military records" , and swear they are true ! They will falsify "fiery truck crash" news clips ! The Socialist Misquote people they want to discredit by leaving out whole paragraphs of a statement made by that person , so the statement is taken completely out of context !! The public would have never known the truth if we did not have a Conservative News Media that told the real story.

It is their individual biases, reporters and news directors determine what and how things are said and presented in the media. The certainly believe they can influence the outcome and the more it seems that they cannot the more their blatant biases come out.
A good test of this theory, do an article or appearance count for each of the "candidates", do it by outlet, they are easily searchable. From this only a blind or dumb person could deny what the media is trying to accomplish, and who exactly they are pushing.
For a large portion of the population, they see through this, this shows in the public opinion of the media, the public holds them in the same esteem with lawyers, used car salesman and congress.
You are dead on with this one.

Yes, like they have done since TV was invented. The powers that be know exactly who they want as President. Like good little servants we will go on pretending we're the land of the free and "vote" for the one they want. One of two anyway, whom when you get right down to it are exactly the same. Its time to wake up and see the truth and how we're be manipulated by the media on a daily basis.

Agreed. The media has us think we can only vote for one of two candidates, when in fact there are many. Many people do not even realize there are more than two political parties simply because they are mindless drones who vote what the TV tells them to.

Yeah... right this is Bush's genuine resignation speech. Duh... I er... you realize... whatcha call it... stop. because of the fact even although Daddy offered my way into an Ivy League college, offered me businesses to run into the floor, offered me the Governor's seat and offered me the White abode, in certainty i'm too dumb to wipe my butt with out instructions written on the paper. My approval score is under my IQ and that i'm bored with drooling on my tie and wetting my pants each time I would desire to think of approximately something yet looking like the dumb redneck i'm in Crawford, Yeehaw, Screw Your Sister, Texas. For those moronic, psychophantic enthusiasts whose nostril continues to be planted firmly up my butt, pull out now because of the fact I incredibly have in certainty disgraced myself, my kin and the country. I bypass away now to take a seat in shame of ways I embarrassed myself often being blatantly stupid. Bye bye now... I nonetheless won't be able to choose how any questioning American nonetheless likes this jerk. you're all sheep. Worse yet, you're lemmings... in case you're even sensible sufficient to get the reference. and you're all racing in the direction of the fringe of the cliff with W in the lead.

Not as far as I'm concerned. I'll be waiting at the polls when they open. They may not hear my voice but they're damn sure gonna have to count my vote. A star for you girl.

We are only as smart, as our own investigations for the truth bring us, and we are as dumb as a door knob, if we let the media tell us what is right and wrong for ourselves, and our country.
I like books. I listen to the candidates, to see what their plans are. I am an adult, not to be told by anyone what MY values are.

Well, they'll try and I guess to the weak minded they'll succeed in swaying their opinions. The key is to not buy into it. I myself don't watch main stream, Liberal news. Their Kool-Aide leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
