I want to go by a different name, but I do not want to have to go through all of the legal stuff. In the state of West Virginia, I have to go to court and file a petitioner. I do not know if I can just do the basic thing where you can just tell people to call you by the new name. I really just want to do the call me by my new name thing. I want to be called Bianca instead of Annetta.

American kids get dumber every year, as class sizes get bigger. It's no wonder we have to import Physicists, engineers, and doctors from other countries.

There sure are a lot of people working on creating TV shows and new video games for our kids though.

Should there be intervention into Darfur???? Is it too outlandish to say that the people of Darfur can defend theirselves against the Sudanese government? Why should we depend on the US military to make peace in Sudan, when its absolutely destroyed Iraq? In my opinion, imperialist governments only intervene in foriegn conflicts if they have economic or strategic interest at stake. Who's side would they take in the conflict? Why should we push a imperialist military to intervene in a foreign conflict when in reality they wont alleiviate the situation, but just exacerbate it?

I have met once (briefly) with my lawyer. We are meeting again sometime in the next two weeks. Doesn't my lawyer have the right to know what the evidence is and don't I have the right to know now that I have retained her? Everyone (within the court system) that I have called to try to learn about this pending (felony - criminal) case refuses to talk to me as it is brought about by the "Grand Jury" and all information has been "sealed."

That question is not to suggest that any of you or your responses are any less valuable than an attorney's but I don't actually get to sit down and speak with my attorney for the first time to lay out all the multitudes of facts about this case until next week. Even though there are many details, I have laid out the most important facts as far as the violation of my rights. I would really like some basic facts and info. about civil rights and how far and how long govn. agencies are allowed to be in your life if they don't have current just cause to be there. Are they allowed to discuss your personal business and any facts in your case without having a court order that gives them the permission to do so. Can a representative demand you follow their orders to do something when you haven't done anything against the law or have been prosecuted by the law and found guilty of said crime. Are there any takers that know Juvenile law that can help me tonight?

I know this question will be a complete idiot magnet, but let's ignore the idiots.
Work from your knowledge or experience--from both sides and any side of the racial spectrum. Here's my take on it:
An African-American freind told me once that she didn't exactly know how to defiine racism but she knew it when she saw it: a racist was a person who never let her forget that she was "different."
Can a person be racist without ever using racist language or openly expressing racism?

I asked this question because I got caught and complain from my present bosses while I looked for internal job of the company and somebody called for reference check. Bosses complained why I didn't tell them before going to the interview. I believe, normally when people look for job, they don't need to tell their present boss until they make sure they get a new job. Am I right?
