Media manipulation, fear of terrorism, handling on the war in Iraq and finally, corporate interests, that were behind the manufacturing of the defective voting machines, made in Mexico... Don`t know, why but I think Mexicans know better about rigged election than in the US... Anyways, all of those answers are covering most of the reasons... Oups, I forget Rove, that planned the whole things, the vote on abortion to make the conservative get out of their house to vote at the same day of the elections... Thus making the country side of the US, win their first elections against the city dwellers that were kept divided on many non essential issues...

Five-hour waits at the polls in decidedly pro-Kerry areas, fraud, tampering, not counting all the votes, and fixed voting machines brought to you by Bush buddy and Diebold exec.
