Perhaps becasue there are still enough people who realize that even if the Democrats kept their promises, it would be bad news for America.

People are upset and disappointed at the slow pace of change since the Dems took over.

Some Democratic initiatives have passed the House but few have won passage in the Senate because the party has the majority by only one vote.

Bush and his Capitol Hill allies have thus far managed to block every Democratic attempt to force a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

About 63% of Americans say that the new Democratic Congress is governing in a "business as usual" manner, rather than working to bring the fundamental change that party leaders promised

Keep dreaming.

Bush is the perfect example of a Republican.

Republicans CAUSED the war Iraq. It's their war and their responsibility.

The US dollar is going to tank. Why is the stock market higher because foreigners are buying up America again and foreign companies listed on the exchange are being revalued because their overseas assets are worth more. And its not over. US debt is more expensive than ever. Americans have to pay even more to service the debt.

What's happening to America?

Try the 'American Financial Crisis ' just like Asia 1997!

The US dollar is gonna tank. As it does everything from abroad is going to be too expensive for the US.

How many more countries will only accept transaction in non-US denominations?

Wake up USA.

The average American does not know how the government works. Therefore, they think that the Democratic Congress is doing nothing. In reality, they are faced with the fact that even though they have a majority, any bills they pass can be vetoed by Bush-tard. A stubborn President of one party and a Congress with a slight majority of the other party is the worst situation for gridlock.

It is basically up to the spin doctors in Washihngton to play the blame game.

it is the way the political structure goes the democrats can not mount the votes necessary to over ride the veto of this presdent so far but more and more that is coming to an end he is actually very limited now and it is only a matter of time till even the die hards see just how far in the wrong direction he has taken the United States

The Democrats are doing nothing to stop Bush. Who in their right mind would support them? Republicans need to stop trying to spin this to make a point. If they had a higher approval rating there would be a serious problem, the fact that few approve of them does not mean that Bush is great.
