LONDON - Authorities say police have shattered a global Internet pedophile ring, rescuing 31 children and rounding up more than 700 suspects in dozens of countries - including Canada.
The British-based Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre says some 200 suspects are based in the United Kingdom. The centre says the ring was traced to an Internet chat room called "Kids the Light of Our Lives" that featured images of children being subjected to horrific sexual abuse.
The investigation involved agencies from 35 countries and has gone on for 10 months.
Among agencies that helped in the investigation was the Toronto Police Service, which conducted online surveillance along with British police, the centre said.
Toronto police say they've arrested 10 people since March 2006, bringing the total number of Canadian arrests to 24 since late 2005, and seven Canadian children were rescued.

Like all Democrat Presidential candidates, these two clearly hate nearly every ideal this country was founded upon. The race between them, again like all Democrat elections, comes down to which of them hates America the most.

Your thoughts?

I have a read an article here in yahoo (i think) about how asians already have certain types of diseases (e.g. cancer) that have been linked to "bad western habbits". If this is true and can be proved factually, can asian governments sue the american government? please explain why or why not.

When did it become OK to go around talking about your personal political beliefs if you are a liberal but Not OK if you are conservative?
Are we just too polite to tell them - please don't talk like that around me, I don't want to hear your political beliefs, I have my own and I would rather not talk about it?
Why is this one sided bashing ok in America?

Does anyone knows more deatials about the case? Can the lawyer collect any of the $45 million dollars? What happened to Mr. and Mrs. Chung, owner of the dry cleaner? Did they run away? $45 million damage for a pair of pant, do you think this was really crazy?

Do you really think it is ok to verbally slam Bush at the copy machine? Be a clerk in a store and talk against the war to customers? Etc
I have seen this repeatedly at my own places of employment and out and about in the community.
Shouldn't this type of conversation be for with your friends? Not when you are at work?
Why do employers let their employees do this?
Don't they know it's a huge turn off for 50% of their customers or other employees , seeing as we have a two party system?

I am sure some conservatives do this too.
I am probably hear more of the liberals because I am hearing them bash me and my beliefs when I have just been quietly minding my business and have not told them I am a republican because I more quiet about my own beliefs.

My best friend is residing in Texas and will be until her probation is completed 3 years from now. She has an F2 felony and has done nothing to ever get in trouble or violate it in any way on purpose. Never has she skipped out on checking in, never has she dropped a dirty urine, never has she gotting in any type or trouble or even corresponds with anyone that is on probation. She does her community service every free chance she gets and is down to 9 days left. But the other day coming home from work, she got a speeding ticket. I was wondering how likely it is that they could revoke her probation and sentance her the full sentance in prison? Now don't bother to respond if you have a smart *** answer like i read on one response to someone else about thanks for wasting my tax money. That was extremely childish. But to those of you who take the time to answer the actual question many thanks in advance.

my car got towed today when i parked @ a mcdonalds customer only lot.

i went to the lot, they asked for my drivers license + $260 in cash. i gave it to them. im pretty paranoid tho since the towing lot/building was REALLY ghetto. the main "building" where i gave them the cash was this broken down trailer. when a car gets towed isnt it supposed to be towed by a legit gov. agency rather than some random company that doesnt even have a name? im worried. they know where i live. should i be worried?

Hello. I am a magician, and I recently was asked to do a performance at my school's Fashion Show.

After the performance, a group of eight kids pushed me down on the ground, and took my hat, and two canes. One cane was 20 dollars, and one cane was a wooden handmade cane.

One of the kids broke my wooden cane, and dropped it on the ground. I grabbed that, and chased after one of the kids with my other cane and hat.

The kid threw my cane on the ground, and stomped it (this was the plastic one, so it crumpled) and charged at me. I smacked him with my broken wooden cane numerous times, until he backed off me, and I could retrieve my hat.

Just as I was walking away, he grabbed a peice of the broken wooden cane, and knocked me over the head with it. I had to go to the hospital.

I was suspended from school for hitting the kid with the cane, but I believe action should be taken against the kids. Wasn't I using defense of property?

Should a former military police officer call themselves a cop?
My boss is a civilian cop and i am a former usaf security forces member. We had a debate on whether or not I should call myself a former cop. I feel that I am a former cop seeing as I did what civilian cops do just on a federal government installation.
