i would say china as their forces are unknown. they keep it a secret!! although american also has a hudge military.

dont listen to any of thies people on here saying usa has the best army in the world becuase they dont i dont dis like the usa there army is good but there is better, the usa have the best equiment in the world for shore but the best military no the uk has the best trained army in the world just look at this training for us army is 9 weeks long quite a lote no well the uk army trainig is 21 weeks and the royal marines 32 weeks if we had the numbers like the usa do we would be un stopable and still probaly are

The way Israel pounds innocent civilian children, women and men and civilian residential areas by use of excessive force, I think Israel is the most powerful military region cause even USA dare not even to condemn.

The USA has all the cool toys, but China has all the expendable personell. It is said that China can mobilize 100 million men in 14 days. Not sure if that is true or just propaganda, but with their population and forced military service, itn wouldn't suprise me. They may not all have boots though.

China have the most people turned into troops
USA has the most money thrown at their troops
UK has the best trained troops and is training the others

USA & China may have a really big Military, but if you know anything about the bible It say's that Israel is GOD'S chosen people and a country that will never be defeated.

USA spends 10 times the amount as any other country on the military consistently. look up global military spending. USA spends almost the same amount as the world combined annually.

Israel has a fearsome military for its small size, but America has power in numbers and technology. we just have to get rid of the idiots that place us in the wrong places at the wrong times.

most powerful...would be the usa...we have the capabilities no sanctions against us.. korea although at one point in the early 90s was something to be feared..actually starve and turn themselves in alot at the dmz due to lack of food..china is somewhat unknown..but i think in this situation you also need to look at where these countries have their militaries..we are the only one in just about every country.or able to be in just about any country...

Us probably. No matter what the US say! their education is not as good, and their army is not as effective as ours - although they are expensive! The States spend the most on their services, but don't achieve as much. China has the most people - as thousands are conscripted into the Red Army yearly.
Comes down to too many politics, not enough true leadership - they are British qualitites! And the US need us more than they like to admit.
(you wouldn't want to piss the Gurkahs off, either! :o))
