Are you in the National Guard and being deployed overseas? If so, there is no way out of it, you knew this was a possibility that you would be called to active duty when you signed on the dotted line; you have likely reaped the benefits for being a "weekend warrior" and you now need to fulfill the obligations that come with it.
I know Dr., lawyers and bank officers that had lucritive careers and had to put them on old when called to active duty.
