Guess who is the only approved candidate by Dr Dobson and the other evangelical leaders -

Not Giuliani (obviously), not McCain, not Romney, not Fred Thompson - it's Newt Gingrich.

Sorry folks, you haven't a "prayer".

hi - on April 15th 2003 my wife became critically ill due to a medical mistake - she was in septic shock, DIC, lung failure (ARDS), kidney failure, etc. Miraculously she survived, I believe she's one of 2 people who have survived this, but she never really recovered from the ARDS and she died June 18 2006 - We didn't file malpractice at the time because - we couldn't get a lawyer to take the case. If she would have been wealthy then we could have. I think it can be proven that her death and the ARDS were related and now that is been several years later, do I still have the possibility for a case? Now that she's dead?

Iam a 25 V know. Went to college (grad in 2003) for Graphic Communications and design. Signed up for Active Army in 05. Now work with AFN (broadcasting) not my job buts a good learning experience. I would like to reenlist after I've been in for a a few years...better said do a different job. Im not doing the career thing. Great for others not me. This is merely a stepping stone on the path to my life as a civilian. I would like getting experience in alot of fields and I was thinking to sticking with media. Preferably 46Q Public affairs specialist. The catcher I fell in love, I would like to be close to my fiance. How can I get to work to be stationed with him or close to him (a states distance at most).
I want to be able to know what MOSs' can go where. If it helps he's going to reup as an 88U. Both are fields are overstrengthed...so will that help me change MOS even if my time in my current MOS isn't up yet?

Yea, you know what I mean. When you were in high school, those army guys came around for career day. Yea, yea, yea they told us all the great things about the military. Money for school, great service to country. great benefits, learning discipline. What they don't tell you is, well if you die in war, you won't get any money for college. When you come home from war, you could end up on the street because that's how we treat vets. You may come back without a limb. You may not get the best care available( remember that story a few months back). Oh yea, well if you get Vet benefits, you probably won't receive Social Security, although you paid into it. You can't get more than one check, although you sacrificed your life to protect our country from people we just happened to decide to fight for no apparent reason. See, this is what they don't tell you. You will join, but you won't fight( that's what they told my friend.) How can you spend college money dead? At least tell the whole truth.

Out of all the things that I constantly read or hear about the "war" in iraq is the fact that everyone is focusing on those that make the decisions.....no one understands what our troops are going through. Media outlets hardly report the fact that our troops are being killed. Those same people will say that "insert a soldiers name" was killed in Iraq and "he/she was from insert town". Those soldiers that arent killed and instead lose a limb or limbs due to an IED are rarely if ever reported on. It took the Walter Reed Hospital debacle to shine the light on our soldiers that are recovering from losing limbs or what have you.

The one thing I find seriously flawed is that you never see politicians or celebrities children volunteering to go over to Iraq and sacrafice themselves for their country. Are these people too good to serve their country, the country that has afforded them their celebrity status?
