Bootcamp, no. But you will attend a truncated form of Officer Candidate School, mostly to learn Naval Protocol..how/who to salute, how to wear the uniform, that sort of thing. There will be PT involved, but not nearly as much as OCS or Bootcamp. I want to say it is 6 weeks instead of 13 weeks for OCS.
It's known as Knife and Fork School.

Most military services will have a short military indoctrination course for officers who receive direct commissions.
You can learn what the Navy requires by discussing this with a recruiter. Usually it is a shorter course, designed to help you adapt to military service. You learn how to wear your uniform, salute, where you fit into the service and you may get a little drill and ceremonies and physical training, but it won't be like boot camp.
The services do things a little differently between them. With nurses they primarily want you to be a good nurse, not necessarily become a barnacled seaman.

Yes. It's not "all that jazz".
It is mandatory training so that all military personnel are fully aware of military procedures, military law, etc.
If you already obtained your BSN, then you may apply for
OCS as well.
If you have not yet obtained your degree, then please realize that your "all that jazz" attitude will not serve you well as the curriculum is diverse.
Also, bedpans are a part of "all that jazz".

Nurses are officers, they go through OCS (officer candidate school), or you could go through Navy ROTC in college. Just as you need training to be a nurse, you need training to be in the military.

Yes, where do you think you are going to learn eveything about being a Sailor? Not in nursing school! Your job is about 90% Sailor 10% nursing.
