Yes or No?

Why?

What are we doing there?

Were they ever an imminent threat to us?

Any weapons of mass destruction found??? (i dunno thats why im asking genuninely)

Have things improved since we went there?

Has the standard of living changed in Iraq for citizens there? Are they happier to be relieved of Saddam?

Are we safer since our military's presece there? Or are we still vulnerable to terrorist attacks? Or we are in the same security level as 2003?

As the terrorist activity gone down since our presence there? Are the threat levels to us much lower now?

I saw an ant running around with its ant-like family. I put on the most diesel pair of boots I could find and I stomped on them. I lifted up my boot and say them wiggling in pain, and so being a good citizen I stomped on them again, and again, and again. I feel so miserable, and I don't know what to do. What will become of me next, stomping on people? I don't want to stomp on people. I just want help. I'm tired of stomping on bugs.

I am 42 years old and had my first accident a year and a half ago. I rear ended a guy and he had some minor damage to his van(police report estimated $500.00) and the police report stated no injuries. We both drove away, in fact the guy got out of his car to see if I was Ok.
Then I found out that he contacted an attorney who initially asked for $65,000....then it went down to $45,000....then it went down to $18,000. My insurance company, after reviewing records (chiropractor, doctor, mri, etc) offered $5,000.000 and they declined it. I was served a summons a year and a half later.
What should I expect? I am hoping that this doesnt make it to court and will settle out of court but do you think we are past that point??
Oh yeah...one other thing, he was in an accident 9 months before I hit him, so I am not sure how it can be determined that my accident caused him such injury

Hi, I just graduated college last month. I got my degree in criminal justice and I am 23 yrs old. I come from a military home. Both of my parents retired a couple of yrs back. They were both enlisted. I was wondering, what would be a good job oportunity in the AF and is it best that I go enlisted then get commissioned or should I just go straight to OTS? My parents say go straight into OTS because being enlisted your basically treated like dogs. I would like to go in enlisted 1st because I would apperciate enlisted more. But could any of you please tell me what I could do in the AF with a criminal justice degree and what do i have to do to pass the PT test. Thank you :)

If you could pay $5.00, $2.50 state and $2.50 Federal, extra on your income taxes for the next 5 years (thats only $25.00), and have the $2.50 to Federal used only for the building of a wall and to pay for the patrolling of that wall, and the $2.50 to State used only for hiring and paying State immigration police forces to deport illegal immigrants, would you do it?

This bill is hated by many on both sides of the Isle. Ted Kennedy co-authored the bill which leds me to my next question. What does a senator from Massachusett know about border security?
Shouldn't the govenors from Texas, New Mexico, Arizonia and Califorinia get together and write a bill?

I know that my life would be better if I did not have to sit in traffic everyday. Would this be justification for me running people off the road? Why not? I am seeking a better life.

My life would also be better if I did not have to pay for my groceries. I would much rather select the items I need and not have to bother with the check-out process. Just grab and run.

Can anyone else think of laws they could break in order to make their lives better? Should we go ahead and do it?

Now, I have a question about Sex Offender Laws. (My sister and I argue about this all the time. I respect his opinion but I don't think that he respects mine, but we love each other just the same). lol Don't you think that it is unfair to require sex offenders to register even after they have payed their debt to society and have served time? Now, I know that many of you will point out that sex offenders have an illness and they are likely to repeat the offenses. (I agree with both) However, I think that bank robbers, people who assault others with deadly weapons and etc are also mentally ill. These population are also known to be repeat offenders but they dont register in a specailized database. (If we make a rule for one crime, we need to be consistent across the board and have this same standard for other crimes) I know we want to protect the innoscent & least amongst us (children) but doesn't it bother you that people who batter children are not treated with the same indignation?

I have never been prejudice against any race, but I'm very concerned that if the amnesty bill or any form of amnesty for people who have broken the law is passed that American people will develop a hatred toward all Mexicans since we can't tell which ones are here legally.

Why is Bush more determined to grant amnesty than protect our country? He signed the bill last year authorizing the fence to be built. Where's the fence? Why are businesses that are hiring illegals still being allowed to function when they have broken so many laws - like issuing fake social security numbers to illegals?

Corrupt businesses are every bit as guilty as the illegals and maybe they should lose their citizenship and be deported along with the illegals for aiding and abetting in a federal crime!

If there are no businesses supporting illegals and our borders are secure, the illegals will go away. We need to enforce the laws we already have, not create laws that reward and protect criminals!

I watched CSI Las Vegas and a murder happened in a brothel, but they never questioned the legality of the brothel itself.
Are brothels legal but not street prostitution or vice versa, in Las Vegas and also in the United Kingdom?
