That is a story that I heard of a couple of months ago. The kicker is that the dry cleaner found the pants a week later, but the lawyer wasn't satisfied with that...and since they had a sign that says "Satisfaction guaranteed"...he decided that 67 million dollars would make him happy.
This judge, ROY PEARSON, from Washington DC is a very unethical man. This action says alot about his character. I am sure that anyone that wants to share their opinion of his action could easily find his address on the internet!!! The dry cleaners are immigrants from Korea, who after this, are considering going back.

He's a former judge. And he's being brought up on ethics charges for it.
The millions has to do with a consumer statute that provides a civil penalty for a "per day" violation... it had something to do with a sign on the premises guaranteeing a certain level of service.
People are not happy with him.

I just googled it.. it is true!! Roy Pearson of Washington is looking for 54 million because the cleaners offered same day service, satisfaction guaranteed. It appears the pants cost 800 bucks.
Sick ba$tard$!! No wonder our insurance is so expensive.

I saw that on the news this evening. It is absolutely rediculous. I feel sorry for the Korean family that has to pay all of the bills to defend themselves; hopefully they will win in court and force that guy to pay for their court expenses.

You can sue anybody for anything. Getting a judgement is another story.
