In ealier times in this country, the
american people believed in and upheld a belief in "freedom of speech." Benjamin Franklin, in fact, once said that he may not agree with what a man said but that he would "defend to the death" his right to say it.

I know you may not appreciate the way that message was delivered. Admittedly, it was tacky. If, however, you do not recognize the factual accuracy of the statements made you have not been paying attention to what has happened during the Bush administration. Another thing that was not mentioned there, which is our issue here, is that perhaps never before in the history of this country has the right to speak out in disagreement with political leadership and to express opposing views (the constitutional right to freedom of speech) ever been so limited. The mere fact that you could say that our right to do so is un-American proves the point(s) in todo.

I hope that when this administration is over and Americans take a second look at the state of our union that all will come to their senses and value the right to basic American freedoms that we have been duped and intimidated into giving away. But I doubt it. Again from Franklin: "Those who trade freedom from security shall have neither." He knew more then than we do now.

What the hell are they teaching you kids in school anyway?

Graphically speaking, it is what happen to Americans right now... Pretty graphic to say the least... I did not really find it funny, as it was so true... Especially at the end, when he ask to turn on the back side...

Priceless!! Of course, if that were really Bush, they'd need to find Jeff Gannon to play the role of the country.

It is typical of the pathetic nature of liberals. No substance and makes fun of things without a real argument. Thankfully, this is a major violation of the rules and this question should be deleted

It wasn't anti-American.

That truly was hilarious!

It may have been "wrong" to some, but it was honest!

That's hillarious. But seriously, political cartoons have been around since this country started. What could be more American than criticism of the government?

It's a joke. It's vulgar. And it's low brow humor.
In other words, right up your alley, lltirx.
