Sure I'd do it ....My response solves both my gas and illegal immigrant problems........................I have hired illegal immigrants to push my car. They're plentiful and cheaper than buying gas. Then I pay them in Pesos so they have to go home to spend it. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

First I'd have to think that a wall hundred feet high could stop illegal immigrants. I dont happen to think that's the answer. Having lived in Southern California for 51 years now, I've seen more than my share of people sneaking across the border in cars, trucks and swimming rivers. They are willing to pack themselves in like sardines just to come here. Once they're here, they have to work the most menial jobs and are treated like animals. They usually pay thousands of dollars just to be in the back of a truck. How about, if we placed immigration offices at the border and we gave them the legal way to enter the country? If they can pay to get smuggled into the country-why not put that money into filling out citizenship papers? We'd obviously have to have interpreters in the offices, but wouldnt it be better than shooting them or rounding them up and taking them back across the border-only to have them return the next day?

My first thought is to say yes, I would do it.
But, those Mexican neighbors need US jobs to take care of elderly or younger family memebers back home.
Also, as sad as it is true, there are many US citizen children with illegal parents.
I think that one day there will be no border between US and Mexico.
More US and world wide industry will be in Mexico, not only due to it's closeness for reduced cost of shipping and transportation to US, the undeveloped lands will be suitable to put up manufacturing plants,
the people need good jobs and the US should want the lower prices back at the pump and at the grocery stores.

Too simplistic even for a Junior High Student.
I personally could care less if migrant workers are handed 90 day permits as they cross the border. What bothers me is armed Mexican Bandits killing hundreds of people every moth while the US authorities turn away. Just to ensure that the Border patrol doesn't have the manpoer to go up against AK47s they are shipping Border Patrol Agents to Iraq.
If we ignore the Border we are accessories to the war that is going on there.

No. Do you believe that our illegal immigration problem is limited to people jumping over a fence. The 9/11 crew was processed through immigration. Stay focused America, lets get above our petty prejudices and remember; The old guard had fences erected in places like the folga gap, the DMZ and many more all over the world. The true threat fly over them with a Visa in hand.
Homeland security will get up to speed eventually, and produce policies to address the true threat via immigration.
Which lease will be the effect that may or not be caused by fruit pickers and Gardner's. By the way we are already paying.

ok, at the beginning, your race or anybody else's isn't the undertaking whilst it is composed of illegally entering this united states. The regulation applies to truly everyone of each and every race and united states. Oddly sufficient, we've regulations in this united states that this is voters anticipate to be obeyed. people who do no longer, go through the outcomes for no longer doing so. As for people who're born in this united states and their mothers and fathers are unlawful aliens and the babies born right here (anchor babies) are given citizenship, this theory isn't interior of united statesa. shape. it particularly is a federal regulation and has no longer been desperate before the very ultimate courtroom. the thank you to handle the anchor infant subject tugs at my coronary heart yet whilst the comparable element befell of their united states, Mexico working example, my butt could be placed in reformatory as an unlawful alien whether i replaced into born there and my mothers and fathers had long gone there illegally. So if it particularly is the regulation in Mexico, why the hell could desire to we do any distinctive than Mexico could? and ultimately, in case you think of that the conventional public of Hispanics will crush Republicans in some years, so be it, yet i'm able to show you how to already know now, that maximum Hispanics vote Democrat ideal now because of the fact the Democrats are those handing out the freebies to unlawful aliens on the price of the legal taxpayer so as that risk is already a bogus one. And one greater element, whilst Hispanics as a majority start to assimilate into the yank custom and leave the Mexican flag in Mexico, end sending a extensive element of their illegally earned funds to their abode international places, study OUR language, and paintings to pay their very own way in our society, then and purely then, are you able to anticipate any style of sympathy for the plight of anchor babies and their mothers and fathers.

It is interesting that citizens of this great country would be afraid of immigrants, legal or not when we are the "Land of the Free" Diversity is what has made this country great, putting up a wall will not stop those individuals that wish to come into this country, nor should we put one up. This is an open society, and I served in the army to insure that this remains the Land of the Free. Why should we turn people away. Immigrants are what made this country what is is today, great.

I would pay it, you bet. That would be one tax increase I would just love. But, only if I knew without a shadow of a doubt that this is done and is used for only this. I might even make a donation of several thousand a year for that.

No. A wall isn't the answer. Let's try serious legal penalties for employers caught employing illegal immigrants. If there isn't work they won't come.
