Most signatures are illegible anyway, and as long as you are consistent in using the same for official documents, it doesn't matter. Some people have more than one signature, .e.g one for cheques, one for strangers, one for buying things, etc. Don't worry. In many cultures, they have many names given to one person and often the signature will be different from the official name. As long as they have accepted your official photo and you have a valid passport.

If it's a British passport, then they're not interested in your signature at the back. As long as your photo matches your face and the printed details are correct, that's all that counts.

You should be fine as long as you can sign your name the same way as it shows on your passport if asked.
Just tell anyone questioning you that the way you signed your passport is how you sign your name.
Spelling in signatures is murky and quirky lots of the time.

Contact the passport agency and get them to help you.
Be prepared to pay a lot of money to have it reissued in time.

don`t panic the passport office are shi- hot i know i have had wrong names put on them by them it was their mistake. BUT THEY WILL SEND IT BACK. at your cost and delay.

not only that but i think their is a d green 2 on the terrorist watch list. how come you don't know your own name. maybe you shouldn't be on that plane. i'm getting a little suspicious. does homeland security know about this.
