Why don't police use deadly force against protesters who are clearly violating laws and endangering public safety and government leaders, such as at the G8 Summit? If you just opened up on those hooded hoodlums with automatic weapons and helicopter gunships, there would be a lot of less of an incentive for future disturbances.

I read and hear people talk about all the things that should be done to bring peace to the Middle East. Most, if not all of it is just the same babble that has been discussed since the 1970’s… With little to no positive lasting effect.

My take on the issue is that those in the Middle East have been killing each other and everyone else for thousands of years. If you do not believe in their religion, than you and anyone else like you must die.

I do not think that it will stop until the end of time.

What are your thoughts on this issue?

My friends brother carries his gun for protection, he comes back home, and steps out of his car and sees a few of his friends that start talking to him, so him not thinking stayed out there..without going back into the house to put his gun back up, and apparently before he came the police had been called on the other guys(my friends brother of course didn't know this) so the police show up, and ask them if they have any weapons on them..and my friends brother says yes(while his hands are up) and says its in my pants, and he also tells him this gun is registered in my name..all you have to do is run the numbers, but the cop arrests him anyway.(mainly because he didn't have a license to conceal..only a license to carry). What do you think the punishment will be when he goes to court? He has a full time job, and has never been in any trouble before? He can't afford an attorney .. but when he wanted a court appointed attorney..they said he didn't qualify.

the money you use to pay for those goods be it cars or anything goes back to that country and builds thier economy,it does nothing for ours and sooner or later our standard of living will drop. and if you tell me its because of quality i got the facts to prove you wrong. yes our dollar is going higher but that is only because of the energy sector out west and once that levels off and the oil companys have what they need only they will be getting rich and the layoffs will start .
heres an example i moved to New Brunswick to retire and half the cars i see are asian and people wonder why they have no jobs ,for years Ontario has been suppling the bulk of transfer payments to poor provinces ,but thier is going to come a time when that will be severly cut back because the manufacturing base is dieing and service jobs like walmart ,fast food chains don,t pay anything so wheres your taxes going to come from ? China ,a country whos spends 10% on military and soon flood us with their car

They say if you don't support the war you don't support the troops
If you don't support the new immigration bill you dont want to do wants right for America.

People like Bill O'Reilly, Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, are really annoying the hell outa of me with their constant tantrums toward people who don't agrre with them. I woulld like to ask if most conservatives agree with these people and the charges always throw at liberals about the war and homeland security.

Im not saying the liberals do everything right, or alot of things right for that matter, but at least they don't insult their opponents.

Since the draft was targeted for specific genders and age groups in the past, is it really that far of a step to target a social classification?

I listen daily as the Hollywood elite, the press and left wing entities praise the efforts of Al Gore and all that he is doing for humanity for producing movies, writing books and giving paid speeches.

My question is, if Al was such a humanitarian, why does he not give most or all of the enormous proceeds away to humanitarian causes here and abroad? If you ask me, he is just playing this country as a fool and laughing all the way to the bank.

5 1/2 years ago I paid a lawyer $450 to do my simple will. I want to make some deletions and additions to the will and have the software to print a codicil form. Can I do this and take to a notary to witness my signing and then send a copy to the lawyer who prepared my original will. I don't want to pay another large legal fee to attach a codicil that I have written and provided.
