Sure seems to be like that. And you are right,it is pure and cold marketing and most people seem to swallow it like another soft drink commercial.
You do realize that's the biggest problem, right? The majority doesn't think these issue's through. The majority isn't Israel crazy like the lobby but take what they hear and accept that for truth, never questioning or doing independent investigations themselves.
That's why the organized propaganda effort of the strong Israel lobby pays of so well
The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human. - Aldous Huxley

It is the oldest ploy in the book if someone disagrees with you call them something that everyone hates. It used to be if you do not agree with me you support communism. Or if you do not support affirmative action than you are a racist. If you dare critize Israel then you are an Anti-Semite. It really isn't a brillant marketing ploy because everyone uses it. But I do think Israel gets unnecessary criticisms from people, but they do do many things that leave military experts scratching their heads. Israel has a right to defend itself against all terroism, but it doesn't mean they have a right to recklessly bomb neighborhoods just to kill two or three terrorist and then end up killing 10 or 20 innocent people.

A scan of this site (including many of your posts) proves that they aren't. Such a scan proves that antisemitism is considered acceptable by many people.
