Nope...he needs to take off his rose coloured glasses and recognize he is WAY out of his depth on this one. A mayor is one thing...a president, quite another. And his handling of 9/11 tells me that he is a good front man and rallier of emotion, but doesn't have the chops to make the right decisions...
