Well provided Turkey uses the magic words" fighting terrorists" they may be OK with the US, at least.
And Turkey and the Kurds goes back a long way, and clearly it involves Iraq and Iran too.
It's not so much the US reaction, or even the Baghdad government one. It's a question of whether military action against extremists will eliminate them, or just promote recruits for them.
It's been seen in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It might be good that it happened before we leave Iraq or there would be no one to moderate the dispute, and a lot more Kurds and Turks would be killed. Since both The Kurds and The Turks are our allies, and we have forces in the region, we may have enough leverage on each side to be able to get the two sides to work out a peace. I hope so.

I hope we respect their right to combat terrorists(their terrorists are the kurdish seperatists)
Maybe Turkey should take over their border with Iraq where there are terrorists, one less problem for us.
