That would be a good thing if we enforced our immigration laws. Unfortunately we don't. It seems that drafting new laws, as well as old ones, are a means to give the public the impression that those in government are actually doing their jobs, when they aren't.

You can not have enforcement unless you dump a few billion dollars on the problem .
Since we are broke it is impossible to do
