I know it might be generalizing but whever I talk to a woman about politics and I mention a candidate they always ask me what are their views on abortion. In my opinion I think that militaristic operations and illegal immigrantions are WAY bigger issues. I'd just like to get your opinions on what you think are the two most important issues and to women why abortion is such a big issue to you. Thanks.

I have heard that each President leaves a letter to the President that follows him. Also, I would imagine that those letters are not available to the public.

What also puzzles me is that, if my premise is true, why is that not more commonly known? The easy answer to that question is that those letters are private.

I know that if that is the tradition of each incoming President, it would be unlikely that it would be possible to find out what's in them. Thank you for your interest.

Forget Baghdad, if the US can't secure the Iraqi borders there will be an endless supply of terrorists, supplies, & weapons flowing into Iraq just like the Ho CHING Ming Trail during the Vietnam war.

No secure Iraqi borders & the US will never win a war in Iraq. Period.

So since the US isn't even trying to secure the borders of Iraq even w/ the Surge, the only possible reason US troops are still in Iraq is so Bush won't take the blame for losing the war.

It is amazing to me that oil, one of the pillars supporting western society, is at serious risk of depletion and it doesn't seem to be as hot a topic of discussion by our elected leaders or candidates to lead us into the future. Has anybody with any power in Washington attempted to do anything to remedy this, besides our occupation of an oil rich country in the middle-east? I mean has anyone actually spoken of it openly in public and offered some actual leadership about what our country should do to soften the blow.

This is not a post made in jest. The reality is that workers at all income levels are taxed way too much. And, 60% of each dollar they pay in taxes goes to "entitlements". At some point workers are going to say they are tired of having their hard earned money taken away from them and quit. Then they will join those on welfare.

I think what McCain really needs to realize that there will be RIOTS here if there is AMNESTY passed. And YES, this bill IS amnesty...the very first sentence provides the amnesty. McCain even calls it amnesty!

My brother is currently at the Naval Academy, and I'm a junior in high school that is beginning my application. I'm curious about becoming a lawyer in the Navy and was wondering if anybody had any information on the subject. What are the benefits of being a JAG, how hard or selective is it and how what that work if you graduate from the Naval Academy?

Any information on JAGs, I'd be interested in.

When I think of Democrats, I think about people with idealistic standards, but I wonder about it in reality. Here are some examples - William Jefferson (indicted on all kinds of charges, including shaking down poor African nations and misusing assets in New Orleans that could have been helping Katrina victims), John Edwards (anti-gay comments, "uncomfortable with them" and millions made from lawsuits that we are all paying for, plus giant carbon footprint), Joe Biden (racially and ethnically insensitive comments about Indians and Sen. Obama), Rev. Jackson ("Hymie-town), Sen. Robert Byrd (KKK Klegal [recruitment director] for West Virginia KKK). So here is my question - why do you put up with this crap? Why am I so awful for being part of a different party?

Proven how? that all Human Beings evolved from a Big Bang Theory?
Natural selection does not imply evolution.
"No scientist has come up with an experiment where fish evolve into frogs and leap away from predators."
Evolution has not been proven if it has post your resources.

And if the earth was created by a Big Bang Theory, who caused the Big Bang and from nothing comes something> You might believe it, but it is a Un-truth to say evolution has been proven, negating the fact that there is a GOD and creationism is also a valid theory, in fact more people in the United States believe in creationism than evolution and that belief is not going away ever.

During the first 100 days in office, they said *Bring the Troops home, end the War in Iraq...Oh okay..does that mean we won the War on Terrorism??? or does that mean we will send the Radical Islasmists, a white flag, a bowl of tabouli salad and
tickets to the opera?

So we just leave Iraq, Iran takes over and we stand guard at the border checking ID Cards..How can anyone think the Democratic party has a solution on anything that ails the USA when all they do, is have a tums approach to a Major Ulcer problem?

It cant be that difficult to find mugshots. I have been looking for mugshots in louisville ky and there is nothing. If they post up the celebrity mugshots, ours should be easy to get. If a high priced attorney cant keep the public from getting mugshots, why am I having such a hard time finding sites. I have checked several sites and they all want a payment. I dont know which one is real, which is bogus and I dont know why I should have to pay for it. I can check pictures of sexual predators easily but I want mugshots from regular joes. Is there anyone who can help me ? I dont need smokinggun or any other site that shows celebritys. I want REGULAR folks. thanks in advance
