How about Canada? They are looking for more immigrants to fill their country and are wide open and welcoming hispanic people. Sure the climate is a little chillier than most places in the USA, alcohol and cigarettes are expensive, handguns are practically outlawed but they offer free healthcare, low cost post secondary education, clean air, low crime rates, a dollar that's almost at par and a standard of living that rivals anything America has to offer.

Mexicans can enter Canada just by showing a passport, much easier than the long, expensive process of getting U.S. visas. Canada also has a widely praised farmworker program and is aggressively courting foreign students. For those who are interested in building a better life for their families it's a great opportunity.

Dictionary.com defines "terrorism" as "The use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes."

So how could you possibly be fighting in a WAR against violence?

If they pass the part of the Immigration bill with the amnesty part, say it is passed in March and they tell everyone that amnesty will be granted to all illegals here before say July. that there will be another 20 million streaming across the border just for a " Free Pass" so to speak?

With all the talk lately about illegal immigration from Mexico to the United States, the country of Canada has actually been inserted into the discussion.

Its been said several times lately by politicians: "if we need a fence between the U.S. and Mexico then don't we need afence along the U.S./Canadian border?"

Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous?

Is there really any serious problem with immigrants coming from Canada? Who comes from Canada? Oh yeah, Canada's best doctors, computer technicians, and actors come to the U.S.

Save the money from a border fence in the north and make the one on the U.S./ Mexico border twice as high.

I say it has. Waving flags, bumper magnets, T-shirts, blindly following our ELECTED leaders, bashing ***ANYONE*** that dare speak against that leader, military or status quo.

My Jeep was slightly damaged by some runaway shopping carts at Costco. I submitted a report to the store manager and I was told I would be contacted by their corporate office. They never called. After a several weeks I was contacted by them and I was told that they are not responsible for this type of damage.

I was again impressed with Huckabee. I hope he gets more press because he has been pretty solid in the debates, far better than the other lesser-known candidates, like thompson, brownback, and tancredo.

What would you do if, like me, the Republican National Convention was coming to your hometown in 2008? Would you be amongst the protesters, the counter-protesters, the mob, the police force, or would you be sitting at home with a beer in hand?

So I fall in a category of my own. I am a proclaimed Democrat and I am proud of that. However I have some conservative views. Suchs as the war we are fighting, government control, corporate taxation, welfare, illegal immigration etc... Why does that make me a bad liberal? I think our media has lost control. I love Hillary, but they have already ruined her chances of being President. Why when it comes to politics does a liberal view have to be all or none? Why can't there be some rationalizing?

I'm not trying to stir up trouble or anything, I'm just confused.

-Why are we at war right now?
-If we got attacked by Bin Laden, then why did we retaliate against Saddam?
-When we found out there were no WMD's, why didn't we pull out of Iraq? (Or did we find that out after capturing Saddam?)
-Why aren't we concerned about Bin Laden?
-Why does everyone hate Canada all of a sudden (or at least it seems like that to me)

I'm just confused. It seems like I'm trying to prove something, but really I just don't know.

Thanks and please cite your scources!
