How about Canada? They are looking for more immigrants to fill their country and are wide open and welcoming hispanic people. Sure the climate is a little chillier than most places in the USA, alcohol and cigarettes are expensive, handguns are practically outlawed but they offer free healthcare, low cost post secondary education, clean air, low crime rates, a dollar that's almost at par and a standard of living that rivals anything America has to offer.

Mexicans can enter Canada just by showing a passport, much easier than the long, expensive process of getting U.S. visas. Canada also has a widely praised farmworker program and is aggressively courting foreign students. For those who are interested in building a better life for their families it's a great opportunity.

Check out the big brain on 'Chickadee'. I love your suggestion. Maybe you should run for president.
I hate the knee jerk reaction by liberals that anyone who opposes "illegal" immigration is a racist. This country cannot sustain millions of illegals coming in at this rate. It is economically impossible. Now we are supposed to pay for their health care. Here is the biggest problem I have. They break our laws to come here yet wave the Mexican flag but they will not fight for their own country. They and some Americans feel it is our obligation to change our way of life for them. We as citizens are supposed to decide what direction our country will go, not the poor illegals!

Immigration is NOT the problem - legal immigrants are welcome and appreciated. Illegal immigrants are here illegally and breaking the laws of the US. 1. Cut off all government assistance - why should a non citizen of the United States be receiving assistance in the form of medical services, food services, interpretation services, housing services or transportation services. Half the US working taxpayers do not have health care but we are paying for health care for non citizens? 2. Enforce the law - companies or employers caught hiring illegals are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Illegals caught will be deported. 3. Tighten the border 4. Require Identification that is harder to duplicate 5. Deport felons no questions asked 6. No amnesty, apply for citizenship. By the way do not tell us how much it will cost in produce because the price will go up, it will also go down in government assistance. It may be tough at first but like the bird feeder example above, we have become the worlds doormat.

No doubt Mexicans are tired of the heat of Mexico, so that would present an ideal solution.

One better: Why not give Mexicans seeking US citizenship a helmet, ammo and a gun....sending them to Iraq to fight for our country. If they manage to stay alive for two years, they come home as full fledged US citizens. No questions asked.
