I don't think he'll be the president even in the world of 24 because he offends too many people and makes the controversial decisions that most Americans won't vote for him. Instead of being a sitting duck in the White House, he's always on the move to do his best to defeat the terrorists as long as he lives.

He's a fictional character? I think that a MAJOR qualification for being President is that you are REALLY a person. But I could have missed that part in the US Constitution.
