I was given a speeding ticket and the officer in the physical description part of the ticket didn't list the weight on my license nor did he ask me how much I weigh. He put in a weight which was 35 pounds more than the weight on my license. Is that legal? I find it offensive.

so a few of my friends are in jail b/c of somethin horrible..well basically it was a drug deal gone bad..but there was four of them and one victim..two of them are in more trouble than the other two..they are all gettin charged with assault burgulary and kidnapping first degree..they havent been to trial yet.but like one of the guys shot the victim..he was the only one that shot him and he shot him through the chest and it came out the back of his shoulder..the guy had to be stat flighted to a hospital it was that bad..but the guy who shot him is not gettin charged with attempted murder..he is only gettin charged with assualt just like everyone else..thats not fair b/c like one of the guys only held the mans feet down...im thinkin shooting someone in their chest is alot worst and should get in more trouble than someone who held someones feet down...why would he not be charged with attempted murder?..isnt that wrong that hes not?? oh btw...this all happened in kentucky.

Price of photo-op with Bush keeps dropping.“Gas prices may be up, but there’s something that’s apparently a little cheaper these days: A photo with President Bush.”

Bush headlined a fundraiser for the New Jersey state GOP, where donors could pay $5,000 to pose for a photo with the Commander in Chief. Expensive photo op, right? Well, that’s actually cheaper that what donors paid just a year ago for a grip and grin with Bush. Last summer, GOP officials around the country charged at least $10,000 a pop for presidential photo op, a bargain compared to the $25,000-a-flash Bush commanded during some Republican National Committee fund-raisers back in 2000 and 2004.”

How much would you pay?

A person owes me money. Time and time again I have called and left message asking where my money is. (This person ignores me so that's why I call.) I have left messages saying that I am prepared to take legal action to get my money if needed. I got a message saying that he is tired of the threats, if I contact him 1 more time he will file harassment. I said that I am not making threats, I will take legal action, that's all. Does he have grounds for harassment? What happens if he does file that? Do I get arrested? What happents?

I'm serious. I'm not racist, and I don't care if they don't speak English because I speak fluent Spanish. I just get upset and confused when I see someone say, "This is America, this country was built by immigrants, we have a right to be here..."

Why? Why us? No other country just lets people in. I can't just wake up one morning and move to France; they wouldn't let me stay. Truth is, most other countries have much harsher immigration laws than America. So, why does everyone think we can just let everyone else in?

"America was built by immigrants" is a lame excuse. Technically, every country was built by immigrants at one time or another. How old does this country need to be before we can just be a country like all the others?

terrorism? Saddam was our friend when he was the enemy of our enemy. Before he was elected, George W. Bush said he was not going to get involved with nation building. We could have bought all the oil we need for one trillion dollars and counting. It will be at least two trillion before we leave. A man who never served active duty( I served in Vietnam) is having others die for his flawed plan, and to save his legacy. Why is there not more moral outrage aimed at this hypocrite?

I am engaged to a wonderful man in the army but because we are only 18, people put down our relationship and underestimate the longevity. Why do they do that? As far as I know, there are many people who marry young in the military and they love each other very much, but somehow, we are not taken seriously at all. They look at us like we are a bunch of kids. Why? I think it just depends on maturity and love relationship.

Why would so many countries be trying to reduce emissions? Why are so many countries upset that the US, and a couple of other major polluters, are doing so little about it.
Sources are pointless on this topic, it's kinda like religion, no logic is recognized in the 'debate'.
