You make a good point and I think you put a lot of thought into your question . I believe you should get a good answer in return .
If you go to You Tube and look up some videos on both sides you can then understand what is going on with both sides of this illegal immigration issue , look up The Aztec Al Qaeda and anti-illegal immigration , then look up pro illegal .
You should know that many illegals that are here hate us and there are several reasons for that . Some are behaving like spoiled children who think they should be rewarded for breaking our laws . They have no respect for Americans because we don't enforce our laws , therefore they don't respect our laws . Also look up this site , it will give you more incite on this problem Americans are having with the illegals .

I feel the same way as you. Why do they expect us to embrace them. I don't have a problem if they come here and WORK, not rape our women, kidnap our women/children, no hit and runs, etc the list goes on. I have a friend who is undocumented, he is a hard working man, he also says that he pay his taxes, so in a situation like that, I don't have a problem with undocumented people coming over. Oh yeah someone put up a post about mexicans sweetie mexicans are not the only immigrants here in the u.s.

That's most commonly the identical factor the Native Americans have been considering whilst white settlers moved in and destroyed their lives, stole their land. I do not consider that ILLEGAL immigrants belong right here. We're exploiting them via underpaying them, and now not giving them the advantages and Social Security that they are entitled to (they are not able to gather it w/o a SS #). However, this nation does belong to immigrants. Our white ancestors determined that once they took over the nation - we are not able to now say it does not belong to immigrants in view that that is very hypocritical. If it does not belong to immigrants, then all people however the Native Americans need to depart now. Latin American immigrants (I expect that is what you imply via "immigrants") take jobs that almost all residents would possibly not do - you would be paying two times as so much for meals and such if North Americans have been doing the exertions in view that Latinos call for much less. This nation does belong to immigrants. My ancestors got here right here at one time looking for possibilities similar to the Latinos are at present - it is just reasonable that Latinos get the identical danger. I'm sorry that you simply consider threatened, however data are a huge wave of immigrants is coming, and we can need to adapt to them. We want them in view that the U.S. has continually trusted affordable exertions. The decrease-elegance white populace right here is not developing, and we want humans to do the paintings. There also are many Asian immigrants being RECRUITED to come back right here in view that there are not ample humans within the States which might be certified for jobs in fields like technological know-how and engineering. Jobs need to be published right here first earlier than humans are recruited foreign. Facts are there are extra Chinese humans that excel in the ones fields than Americans. I do not consider immigration regulation gets so much stricter in view that we want immigration to a point, and in view that of this nation's PC nature. If we closed the borders, expenses of items might pass via the roof, and organizations might close via the enormous quantities in view that there simply are not ample humans right here to preserve the nation going. I admit I have a few issues approximately nearly all of this nation's humans being Hispanic (will occur quickly), however I consider that all people fears difference, and instinctively wish to be round humans that seem like them. But, I do not allow those emotions rule me.

Just goes to show your ignorance European countries do allow anyone in..... And many millions of immigrants do not expect to be allowed here when they have a legal right to be here,.
20-25 year waiting period for someone with a legal hereditary right to be here forces them into an overstay illegal status.. Would you wait 20-25 years outside the country to come in and be with your American parents or American children?

I agree. I was born in the U.S., and if some of my ancestors immigrated, it's not anything I have to answer for. I just want a nice country to live in, and I don't see where absorbing millions of poor, uneducated, and arrogant people helps in the least. I don't care what they want, I care what I want.

You are being really unfair to most of the immigrants. Most of them come over here legally, it is only the Mexicans that have complete disrespect for our country.
Also, we don't just 'let anyone in', again, it is only the Mexicans that have a free pass.

The international criteria for immigrants set in 1987 say migrants, within three years of living in the host country, have earned their right to legalize their status. By then, they have established roots in their adopted communities, creating family, children, culture, education, business and religion. This is a sounder humane approach to a real earned right to legalization, to be united with their families and to the stabilization of their lives.

There is this push by poorer countries that 'travel is an inalienable right', but they don't want to just travel, they want to take benefits we pay for like education, etc.
I agree we have every right to say who and how many come. But they see it as easier to take what we have then to build something in their own countries, and it isn't an answer they want to hear.

All of my ancestors came here legally, through Ellis Island, as they were supposed to, worked and help build this country up, except my great grandfather on my mother's side, which was already here, he was a Cherokee. Several who came through Ellis Island, died for this country also. One in WWI, one in Andersonville. No welfare, SSI, medicaid for them, they worked for what they got.
