I was given a speeding ticket and the officer in the physical description part of the ticket didn't list the weight on my license nor did he ask me how much I weigh. He put in a weight which was 35 pounds more than the weight on my license. Is that legal? I find it offensive.

My son got a speeding ticket once. The ticket said he had green hair and he was driving a brown Honda 3 door hatchback. The Honda was a station wagon and my son's hair was black. The address on the ticket, where he was pulled over, was three houses from the corner. There is no way a Honda with 4 teenagers in it could go around a corner and accelerate to 45 in such a short distance. It was 0-60 in three minutes on a good day. LOL

Get over it. It is not an important or pertinent part of the citation.

Sorry to tell you that no one is going to throw your ticket out because the officer is not qualified to work at the circus guessing people's weight.

The weight shown on my license has not changed for nearly 2 decades. I'm absolutely certain my actual weight has. If the officer has much experience, I would bet what he wrote is much closer to your actual weight than what is listed on your license. If your weight offends you, that is your problem.

You may find it offensive but they may have done it on purpose so you can fight it. If a ticket is written wrong and you fight it in court you will win.

All you need to do is say that's not me, and you get out of the ticket, when ever I get a ticket I check it for errors immediately for exactly that reason.

Do they really have your weight on your licence? I've never heard of that, what if you loose or gain weight before it expires?

Maybe that's what he estimated your weight to be. BTW a lot of people lie about their weight.

That's pretty funny. Did you give the guy a hard time or attitude?

It's not important. Worry more about slowing down.
