It will not work because they would likely choose to be killed instantly rather than being tortured. You cant change their belief anyway. There maybe a reason why they become terrorists. They were there perhaps in retailiation of abuses, in the belief that killing innocent people including theirs would satisfy their purpose. We dont really know who provided them the funds. As war is actually a business. And some governments are in the business of selling arms.
