I am not from the USA, but I have seen a few characteristics in you all that I will share here. Maybe it's best to measure this answer from an outsider anyway. Tell me if you agree on what I see...

AS A NATION:

I have seen that you all stand firmly together as a NATION (well except for a few odd ones here and there which you will always get around the globe anyway), and that you as a nation actually gave meaning to the word "NATION", by not only being PROUD to be part of this nation, but also BELIEVE in everything you do and say and are. This is so strong that some (and hear me right, I said some) individuals from other parts of the world battle to hide their jealousy. I don't know if this is good or bad, and I need not know the answer to this.

AS INDIVIDUALS:

Just WOW...

(Sorry I have no more words, the few individuals I have come into contact with so far took my breath away and along with that I cannot speak! The list of great qualities is endless anyway and there will not be enough space on here to post it!
... I mean even the one crappy-attitude-guy from the USA I spoke to before showed positive moments. How's that?!)

I love you guys!! God bless you all!!

A real American has many great qualities and I will name a few.

They are always there to help when needed. Whether it is because you were just in a car accident or your country needs protection from other sources. A real American is always there to lend a hand.

A real American will stand up with pride and tell the world that they are an American.

A real American is dependable and will be there in times of need no matter what the circumstances.

A real American will lay down his or her life for another and not even ask why.

And a real American will do all of this without asking for anything in return.

No matter what your party affiliation is, if you can do these things, then in my eyes, you are real American.

Hey, you want to know something ? That is the same way I would describe a friend..... go figure.

What is a real Canadian, European, Asian, African-American? If there were a World Flag I would fly it. I think labeling ourselves in relationship to the part of the world we live in (generally born in) separates, isolates and sets us apart.

I hope you don't think I'm being hateful because that is not my intention but I have just never understood why we just can't be there for one another, why do we have to be "Proud" to be from a certain part of the world. Odds are we're either fortunate or unfortunate to have been born in a certain part of the world--pride doesn't have a place in it.

Regardless of where we are born or live, how are we making a positive difference in the time we have? I hope heaven or eternity has no countries dividing mankind, animal kind, nature kind, etc.

a stable artist could be Neil Finn - Crowded homestead. His intelligently prepare lyrics and dynamic sounding songs, integrate to create chilling thoughts. additionally, Peter Gabriel - Quiet Steam being a widespread of mine, Graeme Revell - In Flagrante Delicto and different remixes he created from SPK. Out of those you spot the variety of acceptance and obscurity. there is not any "genuine" music, this is all to do with the techniques or quite, the genuine techniques ^___^

Someone who beleives in and supports the Constitution and the concepts of liberty and rights and personal responsibility this country was founded upon.

Someone who is willing to sacrifice for this country.

Someone whose first thoughts aren't that this country is the problem, that it is the source of all the world's ills and that it's policies and actions are what is wrong.

As an American, I carry the blood of many countries.
American Indian, German, French, English and Asian.
American means a people of many faces, many colors, many cultures.
American means not one people but many united under one flag.
How often we forget.

Someone who is free to live for God in a free country, free to express themselves, free to love, free to serve others, free to be a part of our nation-wide family. But if said freedom is abused, someone could do just the opposite. An American stands for justice.

A Real American...
...is not ashamed of our great nation.
...is thankful to be living in the USA.
...need not approve of the war or our government's policies, but will do nothing purposely to undermine or betray his/her country.
...respects our men & women in the Armed Forces & our veterans.
...will not burn or desecrate our flag in any way.
...will defend his/her country, if not through military service, then by word & example.
...is willing to work for a living, if able to do so.
...should respect the other races & cutures of the world.
...may immigrate from another country & apply for citizenship, so long as he/she respects our laws & way of life.

As the son of a Korean War vet, I was instilled with a great love of country, although I never got a chance to serve in the Armed Forces.
God bless the USA!
