to make a stand because of the ratifications it may create, would you follow through with it if you had America's population of 301,972,612 people supporting you? Example, what if you wanted your government and state governments to deal mainly with what concerns you the most as an American issues like poverty, rebuilding run down communities due to gangs and crime, rising health care, eduaction, and last but not least, natural resources. As a whole, the American people are capable of anything, but why can't we get the word out as a whole that something needs to be done to save people from losing hope in our future. What are some ways to improve our country as a whole regardless of the ratifications, arent we already caught in several situations we did not create?

Does anyone else think that the reason Bush won't pull out of Iraq or set a timeline is because he is setting it up that whoever is president next (and with the way things look it will probably be a Democrat) is so that the *new* Democratic President will have to take the fall when Iraq turns to complete $h!t and the US is completely broke?

I've always envisioned myself as a Marine. My father was a Marine and my mom was in the Air Force. I also have numerous family members with an ARMY background. No other branches of the military appeal to me like the USMC does. But I'm questioning my future career after the service.. I would love to be a nurse.. I find the human body to be a beautiful form of life.. I could join the Navy to learn more about that profession. At the same time, technology is an outstanding professional field and in the future it will be even more demanding!! I can fulfill a technology career in the USMC. But I'm still questioning wheather or not to enlist. Although I have this huge poster from the USMC on my bedroom wall. Also, I am a female so I wouldn't be in any ground combat either. Which sucks because thats what really really attracts me to the military anyways. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Why is it BAD for Michelle Obama to want to put a "career" aside to help the love of her life (and partner)run for President?
It's a job...

BUT, Hillary "stands by her man" the serial adulter and rapist and you don't even hear a peep from them on behalf of the women he abused. They applauded HILLARY!

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

No one ever said you have to get strait A's to be president. bush has a good head on his shoulders and he's doing an awesome job. stop bringing up his GPA. get over it!

I've heard this from many conservatives, I believe Rudy Guilani said it first. I would like to know, from conservatives who are familiar with Al Gore's background, what you believe he would have done differently if he had been in those shoes.

I filed my Complaint with the federal court. Can I voluntarily dismiss a defendant before he is served with process - for instance - can I send the voluntarily dismissal to him instead of serving him with the complaint and summons, or, let's say, mail the voluntary dismissal, the summons and complaint to him all at once? Don't ask me why - just answer the question please.

I'm so concerned.. and it's way too early to worry (considering he's only in AIT). We've had some trust issues... we've never cheated, but there was a time before being married that we broke up and he dated someone else. I'm now constantly worried that he will find someone else while he is away, but my biggest worry (aside from the obvious danger of deployment... God forbid) is that if he is deployed for a year or longer, that he will cheat. I've heard of so many situations where men cheat on their wives. I know the women at home aren't perfect, but guys seem to have more of that "desire" and "drive". My husband IS a good guy, don't get me wrong, he's absolutely against cheating. Are there men that TRULY stay faithful? If there are any Army men who did, please respond. Please don't give any rude/mean/stupid answers. This is killing me. Also, anyone know how likely a 15T (blackhawk mechanic) is to be deployed/how frequently?

The Case for Conservatism

By George F. Will
Thursday, May 31, 2007; A19

Conservatism's recovery of its intellectual equilibrium requires a confident explanation of why America has two parties and why the conservative one is preferable. Today's political argument involves perennial themes that give it more seriousness than many participants understand. The argument, like Western political philosophy generally, is about the meaning of, and the proper adjustment of the tension between, two important political goals -- freedom and equality.

Today conservatives tend to favor freedom, and consequently are inclined to be somewhat sanguine about inequalities of outcomes. Liberals are more concerned with equality, understood, they insist, primarily as equality of opportunity, not of outcome.

I've asked this question many times in the past and noone seems to know the answer. I've always told my kids that it's illegal (red light moving violation) to turn right from the 2nd lane from the right unless it is green/right green arrow on the traffic light. I know that it is okay to turn right (on a red light) from the very right lane after stopping and making sure it is safe to turn. I looked for an answer in the DMV but could not find it. Does anyone know?

At the time these reservations were made in constitution, there were weaker sections and the govt.wanted to uplift them by giving opportunity to study and get job in govt. Today the situation has changed and because of the better positions the reserved category is more successful than the unreserved in every field. It is hightime for the government to make amendment in the Constitution to remove all sort of reservations in order to get better and qualified persons with brain in govt.services. Because of the reservations only these types of inhuman and violent actions are taken by group of persons whereby forcing the govt.to bow before such anti-social elements. Govt should not care for the vote banks of the politicians but should care for the future of the country. In no other country these types of reservations are given. India should stop all these stupid reservation policy.
