If they were really serious about stopping illegals from crossing into this country, they would have done it already, instead of waiting for this new immigration bill to pass,30 years ago we went through the same problem and politicians like Ted Kennedy were in office promising this same lie,if they didn't keep their word then they will not keep it this time either,we don't need new laws to enforce what already is considered illegal

What would you do if you were and international student in the USA. Then you drop out school to start your own business and work simultaneously in a project with some other friend but things get tied up because you loose your immigration status. Then you find a job to get some extra income but it will take a while to get the funds enough for it...one solution is to get out the USA and apply for your visa again but i will not result positively if the country your are from is Venezuela which has so many dificult problems right now.
give me your thoughts thanks.

Since Israel has even more to gain (& a lot to lose if the US leaves) from the US occupation of Iraq than the US isn't it fair that they pay at least some of it?

Or should the US troops in Iraq be fighting & dying for Israeli security for free?

I should not say "worst" but as the media tends to tag them that. The issue maybe more than the gun laws and than again it may not. I am just looking for unbiased facts.

BUSH: In recent years, science has deepened our understanding of climate change and opened new possibilities for confronting it.

TRANSLATION: In recent years, my refusal to acknowledge the reality and seriousness of global warming has turned me into a laughing-stock and contributed to my record low poll numbers. So now I have to look like I'm interested.

BUSH: The United States takes this issue seriously.

TRANSLATION: Al Gore takes this issue seriously, his movie was a big hit, and it's causing me no end of grief.

Republicans have even fought to even use the word
Global Warming....why is Bush pretending he gives a darn NOW?

Hi, could somebody please tell me some very general information on world war I.

Where most of it took place? I know in Europe and the Atlantic Ocean, but more specifically?

What were some of the underlying causes or tensions taking place?

Who were some of the key world figures involved?

Any major turning points for the allied powers?

Thanks,

George

Will Bush follow this madness?

NEOCONSERVATIVE "HOPES, PRAYS" BUSH WILL BOMB IRAN.
May 30, 2007

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, prominent neoconservative Norman Podhoretz writes that he 'hopes' and 'prays' that President Bush will bomb Iran."Since a ground invasion of Iran must be ruled out for many different reasons, the job would have to be done, if it is to be done at all, by a campaign of air strikes," the op-ed continues. "Furthermore, because Iran's nuclear facilities are dispersed, and because some of them are underground, many sorties and bunker-busting munitions would be required. And because such a campaign is beyond the capabilities of Israel, and the will, let alone the courage, of any of our other allies, it could be carried out only by the United States. Even then, we would probably be unable to get at all the underground facilities, which means that, if Iran were still intent on going nuclear, it would not have to start over again from scratch. .

Most rational people understand that pedophiles have an extremely high recidivism rate. If the state knows enough about what someone did to call them a sexual "predator" or a "habitual" sex offender - then why are they let out in the first place? That makes no sense - a person is called a "sexual predator" with multiple convictions, and yet they are on the loose in our community. It's a guarantee that they will offend again, so why are they let out of prison?

I'm not talking about someone who is 19 dating a 17 year old, either. I'm talking about people who molest/rape small children.

Sen. Clinton, who complained about corporate America's largesse and skyrocketing executive pay during campaign events Wednesday, said she did not believe her message was undermined by her acceptance of the private flights. In line with Senate rules then in effect, Clinton's campaign has said she reimbursed [contributor Vinod] Gupta at the cost of a first-class flight, typically a significant discount off the expense of a private jet.

"Those were the rules. You'll have to ask somebody else whether that's good policy," she said.
She can't tell if that is good policy? And she want's to be president?

This question has to do with Hillary being 2 faced and not the Senate policy.

Because I keep hearing that in order to get a police report you have to be the victim, accused, lawyer, law enforcement agency, etc. You can't just obtain one because you want to.

If this is true, then how do reporters like on Entertainment channels obtain celebrity police reports almost immediately after the crime happens?

Many Mexicans claim they are here legally as American citizens and are not illegals. This is probably true. But how many of the legal Mexicans do you think came here originally illegally, then was given amnesty in the 80s? How many legal Mexicans are the children of illegal Mexicans? What percentage of Mexicans here in the US do you think actually filled out the paper work, got a visa, then came here and went through the process to become an American citizen? My guess is less than 5%, but I have nothing to back this up on. The lack of data on this issue is surprising.
