So today at work (office building), a crew was there installing something for the building air conditioning system.

One of the guys was at the top of the stairs with a cell phone to his ear. He was standing probably 15 feet from the elevator door where a cute younger woman was waiting for the elevator.

Another woman walked by and happened to look at the guy and she saw him holding a second cell phone but pointed at the cute girl.

This second woman didn't think much of it, then a minute later used the elevator herself. She pressed the button and waited a second, then spun around looked at the guy and right when she did that he dropped the hand with the second phone down to his side.

She told his supervisor what happened and he looked at her like she was crazy.

In any case, this pissed me off to say the least and I'm wondering if it is something I should let the police know about. I know they won't be able to do a damn thing, but at least they'll know.

Thoughts?

My husband and I are thinking about a seperation. Our two year anniversary is just two weeks away, but for many reasons, we're both ready to just move on. We have an eight month old son, so this is completely heartbreaking, at least on my part, but I can't live with him anymore. I'm sick of being so unhappy. So, which would make more sense? I'm a sahm, so I won't have the insurance that his work provides, so that's going to be tough, and is one of the reasons we're considering the legal seperation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you know that the private Federal Reserve "banks" are the cause of inflation? They are NOT government agencies. The government goes to the Federal Reserve, asks for some money to be created in an online account because they already have too much debt, and the government uses that money to pay the bills. So then a postal worker gets some of that money as salary. He deposits some of it into a bank, say $1,000, because he knows that inflation will reduce the value of his money if he doesn't deposit it. Then did you know what the bank does with that money? It loans 900% of that amount out to other working citizens at a high interest rate. That's right - under federal law banks only have to keep 10% of their money on hand. So the bank keeps the original $1,000 and can loan out $9,000 without actually having the extra money on hand. So the bank has $10,000 now and can loan out the other 90% ($9,000) at high interest. This is how they make all that money at our expense. What to do??

How can I negotiate with hospital who has lien on personal injury settlement when they say they wont discount!
Question Details: I was hit by a woman and am recieving a small settlement. Hospital put a lien against her insurance company for FULL BALANCE ONLY and when I called to see if they would negotiate a lower amount they laughed and said, No way. They dont lower the bill for a liability accident and want the full balance paid. I figure that is horrid business ethics when Point A. Someone goes into a hospital with insurace and pays and the insurace company NEVER pays full balance ONLY A PERCENTAGE! and Point B. Someone goes into the hospital without any insurance and they ALWAYS NEGOTIATE A LOWER BILL FOR THEM> So WITH or WITHOUT insurace they will lower the bill, but because they want their greedy little hands on ALL THE money they file a lien and wont lower the bill!! ANY HELP OUT THERE ON HOW TO NEGOTIATE GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED!!!

Like California, Arizona, Texas.. We were having a debate in class and this person brought it up. She said "These states are ours and America took them from us". Besides, why does that even matter? This land belongs to the US now, can't people get over that and stop using that as an excuse as to why they're over here illegally?

Okay, we know that the end of September will bring a new round of arguing over the war. Eleven Republicans have given Bush notice that the White House is no longer credible about Iraq, and that if the surge doesn't show signs of succeeding by then they can no longer support him. We're also waiting to hear what Petraeus says about the surge in September.

Bush says that we need to expect increased violence over the summer in Iraq as well, so don't get all excited about it, it's part of the solution. It seems as though he has set this up so either way he can continue the war as is. If there is increased violence through September and Petraeus reports that means the surge is working then we should just accept that and Bush goes on with his plans for an unending stay in Iraq. If instead the violence decreases and he points to THAT saying "Hey see the surge is working," then he goes on with his plans for an unending stay in Iraq. Sort of has both angles covered doesn't he?

In Jeff Cohen's article he paints a different picture than the media is: "Give me a break about John Edwards’ pricey haircut, mansion, lecture fees and the rest. The focus on these topics tells us two things about corporate media. One we’ve long known - that they elevate personal stuff above issues. The other is now becoming clear - that they have a special animosity toward Edwards.

What seems to worry pundits - whether centrist or rightist - is that Edwards is leading in polls in Iowa, where the first caucuses vote next January. And it’s hard for mainstream pundits to paint Edwards as “unelectable.” Polls suggest he has wide appeal to non-liberals and swing voters."
