Is there any way to subpoena or otherwise get a copy of a 1989 phone bill? Any companies that might have this information? The phone companies don't keep records that far back - might they have the information in a "deep freeze" somewhere or is there another place to get a copy of an old bill?

If a handgun is registered in PA and used for self defense in your apartment In NYC with a PA permit, but w/o a NYC permit, what is the penalty or case studies? Basically in PA you would not be in the wrong by any means to shoot and kill an intruder and it would be completely legal to defend your property. It would also be 100% legal in NYC if you had the correct documentation. What is the penalty for not having the correct documentation? Please advise. Thanks.

I know that the drinking age is 21, but in New York State is also 21 for the age of the majority. I am 19, does this mean I am still a minor in NY until I turn 21 (even though I am over 18)? And, I live with my parents still, does this mean that they are responsible for me until I turn 21?
Please explain in detail about this for me, and why NY is 21 when almost all other 50 states are 18. Thank you.

Hey Ben,

I just wanted to let you know that I am still here and even though we are not together like we used to be, I will wait faithfully until you’re finished your posting on Manoora.

I respect you and support your work Ben. I hope you aren’t ever lonely. I am doing well with my work and Alex is growing into a fine young man. Bella is also getting much bigger, but with the colder weather now, she is getting slightly frumpy again!

Sending you a big smile and warm wishes. Regardless of anything, I’ll always love you; you will always be the man of my dreams Ben York and no, I don’t think I’ll ever get over you.

Love always,
Your pretty girl

The police in the UK have asked men who look at indecent images, but have not actually harmed a child to get help. Do you think that these men should be charged anyway? Or do you think that if they have not hurt anyone and get help, they should be allowed freedom and not sent to jail? Is looking at porn on the net as bad as harming the child who has been abused to make the image?

Please read the question carefully before answering.

Sure women can murder just as easily as men but I am talking specifically about a woman's right to murder her own children (abortion). Some people I guess would argue that you can do what ever you want to your own children but MURDER! Isn't abortion a little extreme?

Now first let me clarify your concepts about the 70 virgins which people talk about whenever they have nothing to say to support their answers/reasons.Actually Most of them say it bcoz they have been misguided about it. Allah(name of God in Muslims) promises Muslims some gifts for good deeds as well as some punishments for the bad ones and I hope in the Holy Bible too, He promises some gifts as well as some punishments. Now note it that GOD HAS FORBIDDEN US TO KILL OURSELVES IN THE HOLY QUR'AN. yes buddies. it's the truth. when something is haraam, it is a "never forgivable sin" to do it and suicide is called HARAAM by GOD in the Holy book of Muslims. yes killing yourself is haraam in islam It's written clearly in the Holy Qur'an and the Muslims believe it. Those, who die through suicide will directly go to HELL as they have done a strictly forbidden sin. a haraam sin. Well , now the question comes into our minds that "then why is it said and being told that Muslims believe that suicidal death is a direct path to heavens and even people tell that Muslims believe that they shall get 70 virgins for it?"
Well. it is being said because,
in the Holy Qur'an , Allah promises Muslims that those who die in the name of God for the sake of humanity and for the truth and rights, they shall be rewarded. Now among those rewards, God has promised that they shall be rewarded with 70 virgins of the Heaven. God also promises in the Qur'an the reward to good men(those who did nice deeds here) of their wives as virgins in the Heavens. e.g if I you are married man and go to Heavens, your wife will be there for you as a virgin.
Now you see that the 70 virgins were promised to be rewarded to those who die in the name of God for the sake of truth and humanity AND THOSE WHO DIE THROUGH SUICIDE WILL DIRECTLY GO TO HELL!. but it was preached and spread amongst you people that these Muslims think that they shall be rewarded with 70 virgins for killing themselves as they think they are doing so for the truth. it was spread amongst you to make you hate Muslims and think that they are fallacious and totally on the wrong side and hence, gain your approval and sympathy for the Iraq and Afghanistan war. And plzz plzz don't think that whatever you are being told is 100% true until you go through the facts and figures yourselves. Whatever I have said is clearly written in the Holy book of Muslims, the Quran. And you can check that that I have said the truth about it.

Legally a 'conspiracy' is a crime committed by 2 or persons. So yes, the Federal Government has a conspiracy theory by legal definiton.

a) The FBI told us 19 hijackers committed mass murder on 9/11. Yet 6 or 7 the alledged hijackers came forward and stated their passports were either lost or stolen. So the FBI had to announce that they really don't legally know how many hi-jackers there were. So we can all stop saying 19. The figure has been proven wrong by the FBI.

b) Bush told us Osma bin Ladden's family was not allowed to leave directly after 9/11. He told us not to believe the 'conspiracy' theorist. Yet 2 yrs later - the Fed's say, "Yeah, we let the family leave." W/o being questioned by the F.B.I.
Lie # 2.

c) We were told that there we no cameras that 'shot' the Pent crash. Under pressure, they release '5 barely visable frames'. However they refuse to release the 3 tapes from the cameras atop the Sheraton, Dept of Trans, & the gas station.

Question: I recently obtained my J.D. degree. However, my grades were not that hot. However, I definitely feel in retrospect, if I were given the second chance to "redo" law school, I'd be able to do much better. I was just wondering if I had the chance to pursue another J.D. degree, at another school - and thus as a result had another chance to do better and get good grades - would that be a good idea? On one hand, I know what good grades can open up for you - clerkships, increased job opportunities, or a path in teaching; on the other hand: is getting 2 J.D.s a good idea? Is it career suicide? Will people look upon it strangely? Is it just so abnmoral/unconventional that it may be negative, even though you would be able to get better grades the second time around? Just wondering what other practitioners, professors, students, etc. thought about this?
