Is there any way to subpoena or otherwise get a copy of a 1989 phone bill? Any companies that might have this information? The phone companies don't keep records that far back - might they have the information in a "deep freeze" somewhere or is there another place to get a copy of an old bill?

Due to privacy issues, this information is available only to the consumers and records are not maintained for any lengthy duration (varies by company but anything over 5 years you would be hard-pressed to get).

If you have already contacted the phone company, and they have said they don't keep records for that long, then your probably out of luck.
