I've expressed to my husband a little about how I believe I'll face some challenges as a Navy Spouse. He feels it's ridiculous that I think the Navy will present any difficulties for me, after all, HE is the one joining the Navy. Is this true? What do you military spouses or navy spouses think of this? What about members of the military, what do you believe?

Time and time again whenever Giuliani says anything against the dems trying to bring socialism to our medical industry or argues that indeed the president should stand up to people who want to kill Americans, Obama and Edwards come up with a weak statement. It usually says something about "divisiveness," "politics as usual," or "we need to unify."

Should we accept their premise to just agree to whatever foolish and destructive plan they decide to form in an effort to be nice or is an election really about figuring out who has the best views on the issues? If they want to build trust, shouldn't these candidates try to muster a reasonable argument for their side instead of throwing out cliches?

I thought that was a Republican - Democrat thing.

I have been a registered Republican since 1989.

Just because I think this war is retarded and so is Bush doesn't mean I am a Liberal

It just means I am honest

I believe now that a child is made upon conception which makes sense to me because when a child is concieved, it has intentions to live and grow one day get out of the womb. I believe that the mother/child relationship during pregnancy is a parasitic relationship and that the baby is not just a part of the mother but its own entity. (IE a fetus). How can people say that "women can do what they want with their bodies" when an abortion is taking someone out of their bodies that they put in there in the first place. I have also heard that abortions are justifiable because they are feasible. That sounds irresponsible to me. More people use abortions as a form of birth control than not which is why half of abortions are by people who have already had a previous abortion. We are all simply a group of cells, so how can you consider a group of fertilized cells in a woman's body not a baby when it intends to be so? How is this constitutional? How is this legal?

Milwaukee Ald. Michael McGee and two other men plotted to kill a man whom they suspected of burglarizing a home before deciding that he instead should be beaten, District Attorney John Chisholm said Wednesday.

In the original murder plot, $3,000 was to change hands for killing the intended victim, Chisholm said. McGee and the others later agreed on a "beat down" of the intended victim for $1,000, the district attorney said, adding that the trio referred to "peeling back" the intended target's "wig" and "sewing his cap together."

"An argument could be made that this was a conspiracy to commit homicide," Chisholm said in court.

McGee's attorney, Glenn Givens, said Milwaukee police and prosecutors are confused about street language and, at worst, McGee was part of a plan to commit misdemeanor battery.
"You have to look at who is using language and what community they come from before you make any determinations," Givens said.

Aren't any Americans alarmed at the fact that U.S.Soliders keep dropping like flies in Iraq and Afghanistan? Both of these Wars have lasted longer than World War II.The People that live in these countries never attacked america, and If America leaves those places they won't come here(cause they have no Air Force or Navy). If you still support these Wars do you believe everything your President and Goverment tells you?I don't and you shouldn't either.

Since he is prior service (Army) he isn't really treated very nice by his recruitment officer. We have some unanswered questions and I'm hoping I can get them here. How long will he be in "A" school for? What should be on his packing list? Since he's prior service he doesn't have to go to a full boot camp but a mini one instead. What will that be like? What does he need to pack for that? They also haven't disclosed his "A"school date is, all we know is that he leaves for the mini boot camp on June 11th. Is there anywhere we can find any this information out at? Also, I'm new to being a military spouse so any tips about anything, the life, the bases, the AT job for my husband, anything would be helpful, I feel lost in this military world. Thanks!
