We DO use all that technology. We'd use even more, if the process for approving new technologies was faster and more efficient and didn't always run into so much red tape... not to mention the fact that the funding's been running into trouble a lot more lately, thanks to petty political nonsense in the Congress.

They are doing that--- have you not read up on this? There's been alot of UMV technology developed and used in Iraq and Afghanistan-- in fact, they've used these drones for bombing as well.

They're already using such technology. I don't know why they're not using more or less. Perhaps an issue of funding, perhaps tactics.

They are using as much as they possibly can, it's a matter of logistics.
Technology isn't the only answer though, the U.S. foot soldier is still the best High Tech. weapon in the world.
Go volunteer, you will never regret it.
