"The era of tax-free e-mail, Internet shopping and broadband connections could end this fall, if recent proposals in the U.S. Congress prove successful.

State and local governments resumed a push to lobby Congress for far-reaching changes on two different fronts: gaining the ability to impose sales taxes on Net shopping, and being able to levy new monthly taxes on DSL and other connections. One senator is even predicting taxes on e-mail.

At the moment, states and municipalities are frequently barred by federal law from collecting both access and sales taxes. But they're hoping that their new lobbying effort, coordinated by groups including the National Governors Association, will pay off by permitting them to collect billions of dollars in new revenue by next year."

I was pulled over for going 45 on a 30 MPH service drive per the officer who pulled me over. When I went to the same spot a few days after I got the ticket the service drive speed limit was 30 BUT when it became a one way it changed to 40 MPH. He pulled me over long after I passed the 30 MPH point.. I believe I was stopped just so he could meet his end of the month quota. I'm going to fight it in court and I'm going to take pictures for evidence . DO I HAVE A CASE?

I have a funeral to attend tomorrow and I don't have any idea what to wear. It's a formal military funeral and I'm thinking of wearing a black and white dress but can I wear white? Or does it have to be solid black?

My wedding photographer has sent me my photos, but has not sent the albums that they were suppose to come in.

We paid for these before the wedding, (which was 9 months ago). I have an email from him and he tells me that he will send them to me in two weeks, but that was over 2 months ago. I am positive he is trying to screw me over since I haven't heard from him. I have sent a certified letter telling him if I don't see my albums I will be contacting my attorney. The certified letter came back undeliverable. I don't know how to contact him now.

Can I take him to small claims court? I think the value on these albums are only $300 but it irks me that he can get away with this.

I know other people he has screwed in the past and his customer service sucks!!
