The death penalty is certainly a tough issue to decide. The offenses you have listed are certainly heinous, and should be severely punished. The issue I have is that we are starting to clear people of crimes they didn't commit because of DNA and once your dead there is no coming back from that. In cases of murder and molestation where you have definite answers to guilt then those are the times I believe that the penalty can be used.

Does this guy deserve the death Penalty?
Yes not only did he assume a figure of trust but the crime is henious enough to put them to death.

Better idea... We should sent them fight in Irak, with a knife... Cost much less, and nobody will cry if they are lost. When you only kill, they don't really "reimburse" anything that they have taken away by their acts...
Those acts are not only commited against a person (victim) but against the whole society, so they should provide some sort of participation to society, that requires them... Anyways, when we send good persons fight in Irak, or other wars, they often pay a dear price, why should honest peoples pay for such thing, when they deserved to live in peace! Bring on the criminal scums and let them do it! Their life is already screwed anyways, lets preserve our good people!!

I am in favor whenever people commit a crime that reflects sociopathic nature and inability to be rehabilitated.
If not the death penalty, rapists and child molesters should be forced to be castrated. These people are sick.
Other sociopaths the type that kill for fun shooting up gas stations and liquor store workers for $80 bucks should be sentenced to death. They kill on purpose and they will kill again.

Yes I agree, as long as there is other evidence than the accuser, If you have more than 2 witnesses to a killing, or they have confessed on top of circumstantial evidence. There have been too many found not guilty because of DNA evidence that have been on death row or dead, but once the guilt is established to a certainty, yeah fry 'em, and no sittin on death row for 15 years.

I agree with you.
And another thing. I am sick and tired of hearing how the death penalty is inhumane and cruel......... Did any of the murderers sitting on death row kill those they killed in a humane way. Were they nice to them or were they cruel?
I say they should be put to death the same was their victims died. I would venture a guess that the murder rate would drop dramatically if that law was put in to place.
