I can't judge what is MOST important to them but they surely demonstrate that they will not allow Israel to exist.
They will not accept a Palestinian state if the terms of the agreements permit the existence of Israel. They have demonstrated that FACT repeatedly.

The Palestinians are all screwed up and always have been. They had an opportunity to join Israel and form a successful state where Jews and Arabs could live together in peace and prosperity. No way! The Arabs prefer to fight. It is their national pastime.

To run a little state they would have to concentrate on boring things like managing public utilities, building roads, etc.

They should be very interested in repelling the occupying invaders so they can have their country back from the people that came from Europe and killed off the Palestinians that refused to leave.
You may call it Israel, the rightful owners of the land call it occupied Palestine.
