The reply from Private should tell you all you need to know about hitler and who was responsible for the holocaust, don't listen to replies from brainwashed people or, ones who watch history progs, those are slanted views which look for an easy and conveniant scapegoat.

Put in his historical context, the hatred against the jews grow during the rebuilding of Germany economy after the WWI. Population hastlily noticed that the Jews did purchases many German shops and factories on the cheap, thus taking this down side opportunity to capitalized and invest. So many began to see the Jews as profiting of the German economic demise to "steal" them and stripped them from the little they got. They were forced to sell cheap, and then seeing the money made by the Jews after the acquisition, was seen as very frustrating at the time for most Germans.
Hitler was a real sick politician, and have used this hatred against the jews to raise through the ranks and motivate his local population, thus bringing strenght to his strategy of conquest...

Hitler was i solider in WW1 and after Germany's humiliating defeat the country went into a depression, and while the people were starving the Jewish shop owners and landlords and company owners we seen as exploiting this fact and still charging high prices.

Hitler was a so called artists and wanted to go to art school and was snubbed because well off Jewish students got the places, and when he lived in Vienna he was quite poor and resented the money some Jewish people had.

This and a lot of other things brought about his hatred !.

What he done to the Jewish people was Totally disgusting and horrific though !!.

Germany incredibly poor as the result of WWI, many business men of the time were German Jews. so he contrived the propaganda that the Jews were at the center of every crooked deal and they were the reason Germany got screwed over so badly after the war ended. There is also evidence to support the idea he wanted to build a museum to an extinct race. Bottom line is that it was his own personal agenda, his root reasons are unclear but he pushed it with propaganda and deception. Sound familiar?

Jews were by no means the only target on hitlers list of "untermenschen"
Traditionally, jews deal in finance, mostly very successfully. The jews were accused of manipulating the Germanic nations and their peoples to their advantage via the power and influence of wealth.
Hitler felt ,that the jews methods were not good and wholesome ,that they were parasitic, that German people were disadvantaged at the hands of another race.

Judgements clouded by propaganda, many people believe, that hatred of jews was the only issue on hitlers agenda.
in actual fact ,bolshevism was the real target.Hitler desired germany to be free of all he believed was harmful to the rise of the third reich.Hitler didnt really care one way or the other ,as long as jews no longer were part of a resurgent germany. The real architechts of the holocaust were Reinhard Heydrich and Heinrich Himmler ,obsessed with the details of Aryan supremacy.

He would hang out at the beer hauls in Vienna and hear anti semetic sentiment that was prevalant there and all around the world at the time. He began to believe that. There were tracts handed out blaming Jews for everything. When Adolf enrolled in art school he was beaten out of the place in a class by a Jew which also contributed to his hatred of Jews. So brain washing and the missed opportunity are the primary reasons.

Probably nothing, many of them were well to do, talented often quite insular, they were an easy target for popular blame at a time of economic hardship after WW 1

This is why we must be careful to ensure that in law all people are treated the same if they become suspect, this does not stop the law enforcement agencies looking in places where they suspect crimes are being commited or planned.

i.e. if they know that a little red haired man with bucked green teeth and one leg has commited the crime their is little point in questioning a 200 pound six foot tall woman who is a all in wrestler as a suspect

Hitler blamed most everything on the Jews. According to him and his BS the Jews were responsible for the "fall" of Germany. The people of Germany were starving and were looking for someone to save them.

His mother died when he was young, and the doctor that his family saw was Jewish - that may have been what started his hatred of Jews (he may have blamed the doctor for her death). However, Hitler didn't only hate Jews - he hated all religions, even Christianity. He was actually a Pagan who believed Aryans were descendents of the people of the Lost City of Atlantis. No joke - it was on the History Channel.

Dude, there are so many skeletons in Hitlers closet that you'd have to dig up Frued himself and put him on the case 24/7 to even come close to figuring out just what made that psychotic man's mind work the way it did.
